A loud PSHHH escapes Thor’s lips, but he doesn’t respond — he knows he can do neither, but will never admit to such in front of the very person it would mean the most to.

‘ Yes, but I don’t see you wandering the halls of the infirmary healing the sick and wounded. I do, however, see you jinxing and hexing people. Most of all me, in particular. ’

Silence is admittance. SMUGLY, shoulders rise in a slow shrug as if accepting Thor’s answer in GOOD NATURE. 

“You curse a man ONCE or TWICE — ” (or  thrice, but who was keeping count? )  “ — and SUDDENLY that’s ALL he remembers. I may not frequent the infirmary, but what of all those times I’ve kept us out of TROUBLE with a spell or two?”

He places his hand over his heart in MOCK agony,“ — So quick to forget, you wound me.”

Few things could startle the trickster, lesser still to make his heart pound out of FEAR. There were no shortage of threats against him, perhaps there even were enough to span the entire all encompassing stretch of the universe; it was EXPECTED considering the chaos he wrought and the tricks he dealt. He LAUGHED at some, SILENCED others, and those who could make their threats into promises — ? complete AVOIDANCE. 

Guarded, hands clenched at his side. He’s actively aware he is ALONE with no aid should he find himself in need. Carefully, he OBSERVES, breath slowed, mouth pressed into a firm frown. This is not the SAME ancient creature, but neither is he completely DIFFERENT. 

“What games do you play — ?” His voice drops in warning, “If you are here to collect on your PROMISES, I will not make it EASY.”
