A multimuse, semilit to literate, extremely unprofessional roleplay blog for my horrible little ocs. I might talk about them, I might not. Feel free to ask me anything you want to know. At the end of this post I will have another post linked with descriptions for them. :)

WHO'S IN CHARGE?

Me, you can call me whatever, she/her preferred. I love horror, confusing plots, and yearning and depressed sweaty guys covered in blood, not too complicated. If you've watched a horror movie, played a horror game, interacted with something even remotely creepy, there's a good chance I have too and we can talk about it.

YOU GOT RULES?

1 . Absolutely no racism, ter/f shit, homophobia, etc. None of that BS belongs here.

2 . This is an 18+ blog.

3 . I don't write smut, it's just not something that interests me. Muse pairings are okay as long as they're not forced and we can build that relationship naturally.. also run it by me first please.

4 . I write a lot of horror, but mostly just long overly drawn out plots. If you have any ideas, don't be afraid to tell me, same goes for triggers. I will tag accordingly if you let me know!

5 . I am a full time uni student(!!!) and I work most days. I'm not online all the time, and depending on what we are writing/how much thought I have to put into it, I might not reply right away. This also goes for dms, I promise it's nothing personal and I ask that you please be understanding if (when) I take a long time to message back.

6 . This isn't really a rule but please use the correct pronouns for my muses, they're all listed in their bios and it's something that really irks me when gotten wrong. It doesn't take much time to check and means a lot to me.

Jameson's awakened to the sound of arguing, although he usually gets up earlier than the others, it's still pretty early even for him. It's Reid and Emory, although it sounds like Reid mostly.

They've been pretty combative the last few days, which is actually a pleasant switch from the catatonic state they were in before that. Probably brought on by a midnight seizure of some kind.. still, at least they're moving around and talking again and he doesn't have to put them down like a horse with a broken leg just yet.

It takes Jameson some time to get up, not wanting to deal with an argument this early in the morning. But still, he gets himself dressed and steps out of the tent. He’s followed shortly by Cassidy, who evidently isn’t a morning person and trudges off to get himself coffee.

After a second of watching them keep at it, he whistles for their attention. “What’s the problem?”

Jameson blinks hard, sighing. He isn’t crying, but he feels he’s just a second away from breaking. “All we’re asking is for you to stay put, not run into any danger. You don’t have to stay in a bed all day, but you shouldn’t be putting yourself through any extra strain than you have to.”

Reid doesn't say anything for an unbearingly long amount of time, the cogs in their brain are clearly turning. ×...Okay. If it'll make you feel better, I'll keep a low profile. But I'm not ready to upend and go live on a farm. I can't stay put, I'll go crazy faster-×

They jump a little bit, because Scarlett has turned on her heels and rushed off to a room in the back, a door slams loudly behind her.

He just runs his hands across his face, looking at Reid for a second. It’s very clear from his expression that he does not like this, but he’s too exhausted to keep arguing about it. He then stands up, quickly downing his glass as he turns to stare at the front doors. “…Are we still going to stay in town for the night?”

They think for a second, then suddenly laugh a little bit as they shake their head. ×I was just thinking we might be able to stay here, but nah, probably not a good idea×

Reid stands, holding onto the back of their chair. ×I'll tell you what, though.. I'm not giving any money to some other inn×

“…Sure.” He wouldn’t normally accept, but he’d feel weird about declining right now. It takes him a second to move, but he walks over to the bar and leans himself against the counter.

He fully turns around to them now. “You fell off a horse last week. This thing is only going to get worse, and continuing to act like nothing is wrong will just make you suffer.”

Talking about this makes them want to vomit, this isn't a conversation they thought they'd ever have. There was always supposed to be an unsuspecting bullet to the back of the head, something quick so they don't have to worry about the aftermath.

Someone should probably stop him before he continues down the list of other possible horrible scenarios. Of which there are many, at least in his mind.

The possibility of one of them getting terribly sick was always in his thoughts, but it was never as serious of a threat as being shot or hanged. He honestly never even thought they’d die anytime soon, a part of him thinking that this would continue forever or until they split for some reason.

"Somewhere with cows." He shrugs. "You could come visit us, mom says you'll probably want to see Reid after we're done moving in.. she wasn't sure about asking them to live with us, but if you're not mad about it, I think it's okay."

“No, I think that’d be great.” He smiles a bit. Issac probably can’t tell that it’s one of his sad ones, since his face just looks like that always. “Though, it’s up to Reid. They’re too stubborn to stay in one spot, but I’m sure they’d like to stay with you guys.”

He suddenly hops up, wanting to distract both Isaac and himself from this. “Your mother said there were some trunks she wanted me to get for her. Do you know where they are?”

He nods, pointing down the hallway to the farthest room. There's only two or three trunks, along with a bag full of folded linens. Probably for the new house, or for selling as Scarlett's likely broke.

Either way, once he gets everything to the top of the stairs and then down them, it's gone quiet. Reid is standing there holding Scarlett, her arms wrapped around them with her face buried down into their shoulder. Their frail, pale hand is cradling the back of her head. "Things were going good, until another inn popped up down the street.. you might've walked past it, one of those chain companies.. I'm pretty sure this is all temporary, we're going to stay with my sister while we figure out where to reopen." She says "we" as if it's not just her running the entire place, she's close enough now that Jameson can see her streaky face. She's been crying.

He just nods as he listens to her, his eyebrows pinched together. “I’m sure you’ll find something..” There’s another pause, she can tell he’s struggling to handle this, despite trying to keep himself closed off like usual. He clears his throat. “Well, is there anything we can do to help at all? I see you’ve already cleaned and got your things packed…”

Scarlett thinks for a second, then shrugs. "There's a few more trunks upstairs.. and everything's got to get brought to the train station in a little while." She looks between the two of them again. "Did.. you guys need anything? You're not just here to say hello, I know that much."

“Can’t we just visit?” As he signs that, he nudges Reid with the side of his boot, as if to tell them to say something. He’s not sure if he should bring up their illness or not, he kind of doubts they’d tell Scarlett about it.

Reid jumps a little, straightening up. They take their hat off and smooth their hair back, looking a little more like themself even if for only a second. ×Yeah. We need to talk.. alone×

They stand, looking over to Jameson. ×If you're okay with grabbing the trunks upstairs, I just need a minite with her×

He simply nods, walking past Scarlett to head upstairs. He’s sure this is going to go over even worse now that they know she’s leaving, but there’s not really much anyone can do about that.

He could probably still hear them talking to each other from upstairs, even if he tries to tune them out. Thankfully there's something to distract him, Isaac sitting on the floor in the hallway with a wooden horse and soldier, he looks up at Jameson and waves, sniffling. He's been crying too.

He kneels down beside him, quiet at first, since he doesn’t know how to talk to children. He nods his head to the toys in his hands. “…Are those new?”

He nods, holding the horse over for Jameson to look at. "My cousin sent them in the mail, he's older so he doesn't like toys anymore.. mom said there's more at the new house." He pauses for a second, holding out the soldier now. "Are you mad? About the letter. Mom said Reid would be."

He looks at them for a second, shaking his head. “No, I’m not mad, just surprised. I’m sure Reid isn’t mad, either.” He scratches at scars on his cheek, thinking. “Do you know where you two are moving? Maybe we can still visit.”

Jameson's awakened to the sound of arguing, although he usually gets up earlier than the others, it's still pretty early even for him. It's Reid and Emory, although it sounds like Reid mostly.

They've been pretty combative the last few days, which is actually a pleasant switch from the catatonic state they were in before that. Probably brought on by a midnight seizure of some kind.. still, at least they're moving around and talking again and he doesn't have to put them down like a horse with a broken leg just yet.

It takes Jameson some time to get up, not wanting to deal with an argument this early in the morning. But still, he gets himself dressed and steps out of the tent. He’s followed shortly by Cassidy, who evidently isn’t a morning person and trudges off to get himself coffee.

After a second of watching them keep at it, he whistles for their attention. “What’s the problem?”

"Things were going good, until another inn popped up down the street.. you might've walked past it, one of those chain companies.. I'm pretty sure this is all temporary, we're going to stay with my sister while we figure out where to reopen." She says "we" as if it's not just her running the entire place, she's close enough now that Jameson can see her streaky face. She's been crying.

He just nods as he listens to her, his eyebrows pinched together. “I’m sure you’ll find something..” There’s another pause, she can tell he’s struggling to handle this, despite trying to keep himself closed off like usual. He clears his throat. “Well, is there anything we can do to help at all? I see you’ve already cleaned and got your things packed…”

Scarlett thinks for a second, then shrugs. "There's a few more trunks upstairs.. and everything's got to get brought to the train station in a little while." She looks between the two of them again. "Did.. you guys need anything? You're not just here to say hello, I know that much."

“Can’t we just visit?” As he signs that, he nudges Reid with the side of his boot, as if to tell them to say something. He’s not sure if he should bring up their illness or not, he kind of doubts they’d tell Scarlett about it.

Reid jumps a little, straightening up. They take their hat off and smooth their hair back, looking a little more like themself even if for only a second. ×Yeah. We need to talk.. alone×

They stand, looking over to Jameson. ×If you're okay with grabbing the trunks upstairs, I just need a minite with her×

He simply nods, walking past Scarlett to head upstairs. He’s sure this is going to go over even worse now that they know she’s leaving, but there’s not really much anyone can do about that.

He could probably still hear them talking to each other from upstairs, even if he tries to tune them out. Thankfully there's something to distract him, Isaac sitting on the floor in the hallway with a wooden horse and soldier, he looks up at Jameson and waves, sniffling. He's been crying too.

He kneels down beside him, quiet at first, since he doesn’t know how to talk to children. He nods his head to the toys in his hands. “…Are those new?”

He nods, holding the horse over for Jameson to look at. "My cousin sent them in the mail, he's older so he doesn't like toys anymore.. mom said there's more at the new house." He pauses for a second, holding out the soldier now. "Are you mad? About the letter. Mom said Reid would be."

Awkward and quiet, besides the plodding of the horses. There was once a time not too long ago where Jameson probably wished Reid was quiet, their senseless droning about some stupid topic giving him a headache. They remember it too.

The town is pretty packed when they finally arrive, the newer buildings have popped up and the train station was built over the ruins of the little library. The streets are filled with people Jameson doesn't recognize.. Thankfully, Scarlett's inn is still there tucked away. Two drunkards are sitting on the steps out front, he doesn't recognize them either, even the regular bums have been driven out.

This, somehow, seems to sour Jameson’s mood more. He misses when things were smaller, less crowded. And his precious little library being gone is even worse.

Once they make it to the inn, he and Cassidy hop off their horses. “…Do we need any supplies while we’re here?”

Emory's off their horse next, quickly at Cassidy's side. "I'll go with you, I need another change of socks." Reid takes an extra minute getting their bag down and everything, they shrug, slapping their hat on their head. ×Morphine, and I think we could use another roll of bandages?×

“Cigarettes, I think. Two packs.” Cassidy gives him a thumbs up, then grabs his little satchel. He motions for Emory to go ahead before walking off with them to the store.

Reid watches them go, turning back to face Jameson after they're gone. They stand there for a second, glancing to the doors of the inn. ×I do not want to go in there, she's gonna tear me a new one..×

There's a thudding of footsteps upstairs, and Scarlett rounds the corner with her son in her arms. She's wearing her petticoat, they're both dressed up to leave. "Oh- Jesus, I didn't think you'd get my letter already."
