Not only can you have all the OCs you want, but you can have all the self-inserts you want too!

You can have various different versions of yourself, and pair them with the SAME blorbo if you want! You can poke, prod, separate and mix up all the parts of who you are, with parts of who you want to be, and smooch fictional characters all day long (or kill them, or hang out with them, you don't have to smooch, I just say that cause I like smooching).

You can have one OC that never changes, or one OC that has a bunch of different hats depending on the fandom they're in. Or 100 OCs all specifically created for 100 different characters or worlds.

You can ship your OCs with your own OCs, and even your self-insert too! Blorbo optional \o/

It's all legal.

!! INFORMATIVE POST !!

I'm going to clearly state the Do's and Don'ts of my characters regarding their art/use. THESE RULES ARE NON NEGOTIABLE!!!

This is purely here for information so that my thoughts are completely clear and this post can be referred to in the future if necessary.

REGARDING CHARACTER ARTWORK USE

Do not use ANY of my art of my OCs for:

Backgrounds

Profile Pictures (ON ANY SITE, Including Discord)

Edits

Videos

Emotes

If you see someone using my character artwork for any of the above, let me know. (NOTE: My friends are exceptions sometimes).

REGARDING FANART

You are free to draw them, HOWEVER YOU MUST:

KEEP IT SFW!!! (NONE of my OCs should EVER be in NSFW work!)

@ or tag me, use the #stormyweathersplatoon tag, or message me so that I can find & see it. Inform me in some way that it has been created.

Credit me for the characters.

REGARDING FAN WRITING

You are totally free to write fics or stories, HOWEVER:

AGAIN! Keep it SFW ONLY!

Notify me it has been written like the fanart. Please include a link as well, I'd love to read it!

Again, credit me appropriately.

REGARDING ROLEPLAY

I do NOT want my characters being used in roleplaying situations AT ALL.

Do not use my OCs for roleplays with friends or in servers.

While this is less likely to happen, it is something I fear and want to make clear.

REGARDING CHARACTER AI/AI SITES

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES add my characters to platforms like Character AI or other AI sites. If you see one of my characters up on these sites, inform me immediately.

I do not want my characters associated or part of AI platforms.

ON SHARING/SAVING MY OC ARTWORK

I dont mind if my art is shared to others to show them a piece if you really liked it.

I do not mind if you save it, or if you use it to talk about the characters or otherwise discuss it.

Of course, credit is necessary, but otherwise go for it.

AND FINALLY, EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULES ABOVE:

I will allow exceptions to the rule IF:

I am asked and I give you clear permission to use the artwork.

(On Emotes/Emojis/Stickers) If I am in the server or space the emotes/stickers are being used.

This just comes down to getting my permission.

QUICK CLARIFCATION

This DOES NOT apply to artwork I've made of CANON CHARACTERS!!!

This would be characters like Marina and Pearl from Splatoon or Ghost and Hornet from Hollow Knight.

If the artwork is of a canon character, you're free to use it with credit!

Rules/etc for interacting with my ocs/aus

(finally gonna make one of these. Will be adding onto this list as I think of more points/boundaries. If unsure about something feel free to ask me about stuff, dms are always open as well)

Heres a link to my art request info too. Since a lot of people are requesting for their ocs interacting with mine.

If asks are open, but request aren't it means you can still ask my ocs/aus things, and I will draw responses. BUT it just means I will not be drawing anything but my ocs/aus!! If I draw anyone interacting with them it will be them interacting with an anon! (moots might be an exception to this, but it's 50/50)

I’m okay with people making fanart/writings of my ocs/aus! I’m also okay with people drawing their ocs/sonas/aus with mine too ^-^! (Please keep it sfw since minors follow my account. If your unsure if I’d be okay with a specific art/writing ask first and I can let you know.) 

I’m okay with people shipping characters with mine (providing it's not a problematic ship, and that it’s a ship between adults). I’m also okay with self-shipping with my characters ^-^ feel free to tag me I’d love to see any artwork/writing. (But keep in mind the ship will not be canon for my ocs/aus. Unless it’s something we’ve decided to make canon between ocs/aus) 

(To add on to point 2) I’m also okay with people making their ocs/etc have a sibling/parental/etc dynamic with my ocs/etc. (Just as long as it’s nothing problematic)

(To add on to point 2) I’m okay with people simping/being unhinged about my (adult) characters. I will be unhinged with you. So feel free to send any rants and stuff about my characters/aus. (But please keep the rants somewhat sfw, as stated in point 1, minors follow my account.)

When interacting via asks please state which characters you're interacting with. And when it's an au version e.g I have two aus so far you can’t just say ‘for your au Nightmare’ as I will not know which Nightmare it’s for. So please state which lol. (If a specific version of the character isn't stated I will just guess)

(Adding onto point 2/4/5) I’m okay with people sending in asks where they use their ocs/aus/sona to interact with my ocs/aus/etc in a shipping context, may or may not do doodles in response depending on my mood.

I’m super okay with dumb asks! I’m also okay with people sending ideas/head canons/etc about my ocs/aus! I will try to include doodles and such if I have ideas on stuff to draw.

I also treat my sona more like an oc, so feel free to send my sona asks and such too. Even though I treat my sona as an oc, I DON’T want anyone shipping anyone with my sona, it will make me a little uncomfortable. UNLESS I have mentioned I don’t mind my sona being shipped with a certain character e.g. me self-shipping my sona with characters, I’d kindly ask people to refrain from shipping my sona with characters. 

Please do NOT use my characters/aus/etc for your own roleplays. It makes me feel uncomfortable to think that someone would be using my characters/designs. To add to this do NOT use my characters/aus for AI sites (e.g. character AI), same reason as the rp, and also AI bad.

1. Don't claim them as your own

2. Credit is required.

3. Tag me.

4. No NSFW of them in any way shape or form.

5. No using it for hate either

6. If you want to RP as them please ask me.

7. Have fun with it. As long as it follows my rules then go wild! I love and appreciate anything that is done with my OCS.

OC Guide:

•° As with most RPs... please, no obnoxiously-OP (over-powered) characters. Remember that Bill and Will are both very powerful demons with powers from a whole other dimension here- so even if, yes, they are capable of losing fights sometimes, they're not completely weak. That being said, there are no real rules against OCs being cunning and smart to try to trick them into losing instead...

•° It's fine for your OCs to have a little bit of pre-established backstory with the twins (e.g. a history of not getting along with Bill, or a short past fling with Will), as long as you tell me (even just as a quick note in the tags!), but please try to avoid anything too deep/complex before we've even really started. Unfortunately, I'm not a mind reader, so I won't know every little nuance and detail of what you're thinking of

•° OCs from different fandoms are fine, but please don't expect me to know everything about that show or fandom. This always happens and it's extremely upsetting

•° OC/your own versions of Bill and Will are also fine to interact with mine- whether I would allow shipping them together would very, very much depend on what kind of Bill/Will the other one(s) is/are

•° OCs that are LGBTQIA+ are very much welcome and respected here. Whether they are gay, lesbian, pan, omni, aroace, non-binary/enby, trans, pangender, or anything else that they may be. If I get something wrong with this (e.g. wrong pronouns), however, please do correct me and I'll try my best not to make the same mistake again

((Hey! I'd love to start an RP with your V3 cast! What are your rules on OCs and roleplay?))

(( Hey! I do have a couple of rules!

1. I will probably not reply if you just tag me in an old promo post. Send in an interaction. It's that simple- I don't know why, it's just a pet peeve that irks me.

2. If I can't read what you wrote, I won't reply.

3. Don't force your headcanons or relationships on the characters. Yelling at me because "ANGIE AND OC/N ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BEST FRIENDS!" will only get you blocked. If you want a pre-established relationship, please speak to me beforehand.

4. Tell me if you have any discomfort characters from V3 in your ask! That way I don't trigger you! This goes for askers with discomfort characters, too. I know not everybody likes many characters (specifically Tenko and Angie, sometimes Miu or Kokichi)! Likewise, tell me if you have any favorite/comfort characters!

5. Don't yell at me for my headcanons of the characters or their backstories. Remember they're heavily traumatized, they won't be exactly the same as in the game.

6. Avoid any g/ntle jokes (UDG), jokes about Kokichi's or Kirumi's deaths (they're my comfort characters), or too many mentions of m/ney. They're triggering for the mod over here. The death jokes are fine when directed at the characters, but don't direct those jokes at the mod.

7. If your character has a heavily triggering backstory, it's fine, just warn me first.

8. I have a personal vendetta against OCs that are an Ultimate Despair or a mastermind for whatever reason, but I can be swayed if they're interesting enough.

9. Your response has to give me something to work with! Not just '"Ok."' That is the most annoying thing ever, and any roleplayers can agree with me on that one!

10. If you're a canon character, and you're super out-of-character, I probably won't respond. That makes me question my sanity for a moment- /hj

11. If you want a ship interaction, please discuss with me beforehand! It doesn't matter if you're an OC or canon character, some ships will overall make me very uncomfortable, like Oum*mi. All characters are single at the moment, so everyone is up for grabs.

12. NSFW asks are allowed, but I won't RP a full NSFW scene. Sorry.
