while reading don quixote, i had a concrete art series idea for the first time in literal months! and im following up on it already! this is the first time im excited about drawing again and ahhhh !

okay the first one is bojack horseman's house. gotta admit its the worst kind of modernism that i wouldnt touch in other circumstances but what the hell cant believe im inspired to draw that dump lmao

im also going slower than i remember. its alright im rusty. i dont expect to paint today anyhow

on to piece #2! im currently sketching don quixote's windmills rn (a prompt I've had in my mind since i started reading it) but literally just the landscape. no knight-errant foolishly charging at giants whatsoever 😉

since i finished don quixote yesterday (after more than two months), i wanted to paint the windmills as soon as possible. so i painted it today! honestly am very happy with the result especially since i have a migraine from the weather or my shitty eyeglasses or most probably a combination of both, i ended up painting without eyeglasses but it still looked good! and my cat was extra affectionate today so its a good day then!!!

third piece is now a wip! i recently finished dark a few days ago and it is still fucking up my mind I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. (it is such a brilliant show, i highly recommend)

which is how the next escapist setting is from winden. the cinematography of the show is so beautiful that it was an internal debate between the kahnwald house, the church/entrance to sic mundus or the caves.

i am now drafting the pencil for the church, it won because the composition is better (licht und schatten lol) and i am secretly really into traditionally built ecclesiastical structures, dont come at me.

excited for this one because the church is gorgeous

I can’t stop thinking about the fact that Jonas and Elizabeth were the only two left from their time in 2021 and them and Noah spent the next 33 years growing up together before season 1 starts. I mean they were probably best friends because they were all the only people they had left and I want an entire tv show just showing me how they grew and how Claudia just raised them.
