Elodie: does anyone else find these filters slightly over the top? just me? ok

Evie lifted her brow at her remark. Why was it when she tried to do the right thing, no one ever took to it? “Why,” she blurted, yet hung the jacket over her shoulder, still holding it between her fingers. “I’m offering it back. Besides, I don’t want it.” That was a lie. It was cute; she might have kept it. There were still a few other potential outfits that she could have paired it with. But then again, she was trying to do the right thing. “I’ve already used it up anyway.”
“Listen. Keep it, I’m sure you’ll put it to better use than I do.” Elodie answered. She was offering this girl a very expensive, very cute jacket and she was turning it down? Elodie flashed a smile, deciding to stop being such a snob to the person in front of her she had just met. “I’m Eoldie by the way.”

There were very few people who could get Evie to run willingly. Her personal trainer was, of course, the exception to the rule. Any other time, she was most likely running away from something, if at all. Overall, she was most definitely not the kind of person who would run after anyone, especially someone who had left their jacket lying around. To her defense, she did try to yell, but her shouts were drowned out with all the noise around them. So instead, she shrugged it off, taking one last glance at the jacket before deciding it was nice. By the time ten minutes had past, she rose herself and took it for herself. It was only half way through the day did she spy them again, unexpectedly, but she supposed she did already get the jacket for most of the day. She might as well return it. “You,” she called, stepping forward. “You left this this morning,” she said, slipping the jacket off. “Thought it was cute, so I took it, but it’s yours so.” She held it by the tips of her fingers, extending it forward.
It didn’t take long for Elodie to realize that she forgot one of her favourite jackets back where she was sitting earlier. Oh well she thought to herself, going the rest of the day without it, and coming to terms with the idea that she wouldn’t see it again. As she heard a very snobby sounding call, seemingly pointed at her, she turned to face the stranger only to be met by her jacket. “Keep it, my treat.” She said to her pointedly, the jacket definitely wasnt cheap, and she assumed the stranger couldn’t afford something like that.
