We haven’t talked much since that message last night. You came home soon after and got back on your Xbox like you enjoy doing to relax and get your much needed alone time.

I’m still here, home, taking care of the children.

And so, I try to stay productive do a thing here and there but now I’m exhausted we’ve fought enough for the day.

So instead of finishing my work due for the day I go to bed.

You came and you left again, it’s now the afternoon, and you’re still gone. I get it, you’re working but I miss our calls, I do, I miss them.

But I can’t call you since I don’t know what mood I’ll find you in or what to even talk about since everything I say annoys you now.

So I stay silent, here, watching the minutes go by, while I’m writing this, wishing you’d just call me now and make it all alright, a wish that is.
