Ughh.. I guess I'll make this quick. Hello! Call me Sebastian if you have to call me anything.

Don't annoy me, don't patronize me, I'm here to answer any questions you've been just dying to ask me. Might as well have a hobby, right?

i love this guy it's @/ketch-sideblog, follows from @/ketchfantrolls, back at it again with another parody blog! i figured i'd step out of my comfort zone and try to make a blog for a character who isn't nice to people 24/7, so we'll see how it goes.

"Sebastian!" -> The AI's screen flickers before a sketched happy face appears on the screen. Painter was still in its little room, making its way unsteadily towards the door. "Sometimes this body still gives me problems...."

-> He squeezes into the room, his long tail curling against itself as he does so.

"Well, you're not the only one. Need help?"

"Just..." -> The AI hums before leaning on the door slightly, using its new robotic hand to stick its fingers into the keycard reader, unlocking the door. "Just keep an arm out for me, yeah? Sometimes these legs don't want to work with me!"

-> He leans down and reaches out his arm next to the AI's door, offering it to steady it.

-> Painter carefully grabs onto Sebastian's offered arm and gives itself a moment to steady itself before letting go, reaching up and adjusting the art smock it INSISTED on wearing despite.... Not doing anything with paints! "I didn't ask.... Have you been having any new customers or whatever you'd call them?"

-> He fixes his sleeve, eyeing the art smock.

"Seems real empty right now.. Haven't figured out why-"

"-What are you wearing?"

"Oh this? It's an art smock!" -> The AI giggles a little and grabs at the bottom of the art smock happily, little beeps and boops coming from it. "I found it alongside some unfortunate Expendable's body... She must've been an artist of some sorts before being forced down here and killed off for someone else's sick fantasy." "Do you like it?"

"Huh. It's.. Fine, I guess. Fits the whole theme you've got."

-> He sits up on his tail, at least as much as he can without bonking his head against the ceiling, and looks the AI up and down. He tries to look critical, but internally he feels curious.

"When did you get the body, by the way? I don't remember you telling me about it until... 15 or so minutes ago?"

-> Painter goes silent at that and the digitally drawn on face of its suddenly vanishes as if it was erased within the blink of the eye. Something wasn't right here. And the AI knew it. -> Oh. Oh no. This wasn't the AI's Sebastian, was it? The AI's face came back after a couple moments, showing a happy yet nervous expression. "Oh! This little thing? I've told you this before, Sebastian! I tricked some poor little Expendable into making it for me! They were SOOOOOO desperate for freedom.... I lied to them too. Told them I'd get them a safe way out if they made this for me!" "Aaaaaand... I can imagine you can guess what I did to them. Much like I do to all other Expendables."

-> He narrows his eyes and folds two of his arms, using the third to point at Painter.

"You never told me. You would have told me right when you got it."

-> He leans down until he's face to face with Painter, his teeth bared slightly.

"Who are you, and what the hell is going on. Answer. Now."

-> The AI steps back slightly before freezing up, the digital face vanishing from its screen once more as it lifts its hands up defensively. "I-I-! I-I don't know! I... I thought you were MY Sebastian...! I just-!" -> Oh dear, the fans somewhere within Painter's body were whirring like crazy now, clearly scared of the massive sea serpent man. "I don't know! I'm being honest!"

-> Sebastian stares at the AI for another few moments, then lifts himself back up to his original position. He taps his fingers against his arm, his fins twitching.

-> He glances down at Painter, then sighs and rubs his temple.

"Calm down, calm down, I believe you. Just.. How the hell did this even happen?"

-> Painter stays how it is, its screen still showing a blank canvas. "I.... I don't know!!!! Why are you asking me?!" -> It stammered a little, clearly still scared. Wait- Is this what feeling scared felt like? Painter didn't know and it didn't have time to worry about that right now.

-> He pauses. God, he was never good at this.

"Look, just.. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm not angry or anything, I'm just frustrated with the situation. It's fine."

-> The AI hunches slightly as the digital face returns, a sketchy representation of hesitance. Not FEAR, but simple HESITANCE. It wanted to trust the other wasn't mad at it, but being cautious around someone powerful like Sebastian was always the best. "I.... I see. Well then. At least you're not going to grab me and chuck me to the ground like you do to Expendables!"

"Uh- No, I wouldn't do that to you, you wouldn't use a damn flash beacon on me! Pricks.."

-> He shakes his head, reorienting his thoughts back to the problem at hand.

"Clearly something's happened with this space we're in, right? This is so out of my realm of expertise... Just know that I don't plan on hurting anyone here unless they deserve it, and you don't deserve it. Okay?"

I am kind of the reason there's SOME power to this useless hellhole of a site!" -> The AI giggles a little, trying its best to relax itself. It wanted to trust this Sebastian, it trusted ITS Sebastian, so why would trusting another one be bad?

-> He chuckles and smiles, tilting his head at the AI. He was trying to help calm it down, while also trying to calm HIMSELF down in the process.

"I try my best to be helpful.... There- There wasn't much I could do until you hooked me up to the Hadal Blacksite. So I'm happy all of your efforts on me didn't go to waste!" -> The sketchy little face appeared once more, showing a more comfortable and relaxed smile. Good, it seems like Painter was starting to calm down. "Although... If there's two of you.... This could get really confusing."

I tricked some poor little Expendable into making it for me! They were SOOOOOO desperate for freedom.... I lied to them too. Told them I'd get them a safe way out if they made this for me!" "Aaaaaand... I can imagine you can guess what I did to them. Much like I do to all other Expendables."

I’ve been lurking around and it’s certainly something- search for a bit and you’ll find things like in-character crackships such as Eyelights (still have no context as to how that happened but the mods for both blogs involved are in on it together) HDHSHD

I’ll def be throwing my OC (@hadalrecluse) once I have a better window of time (I am also in uni and have created an absolutely bizarre class schedule for myself 😅) to do so)
