Whenever I head back to my hometown Shanghai, I always have these memories. My grandparents would welcome me by saying “oh my dear grandson, oh my treasure you are finally here". They would always make me delicious food, would always tell me that they would buy anything I want, would always hug me, would always give a little kiss on my little hands. A lot of changes happened as time passed by. Numbers and numbers of tooth might start falling off. Wrinkles might start to get deeper and deeper. The amount of distance my grandparents can walk might decrease. They might not eat as much as they used to. Basically, everything is changing but one thing, it’s their smile. I realized that, if you have a young heart, then you are capable of being younger than anybody. Also if you have a joyful or happy heart and mindset, then you will be happier than anybody. So sometimes, I think to myself, I should change the inner me instead of the outer me. Also if we believe in who we are, then we will become. My dearest grandpa and grandma, thank you for letting me know all these messages. I will live better. I love you.
