there’s such an eerie peacefulness to winter storms. the way falling snow mutes the darkness of the night sky into a hazy grey fog that extends into the heavens and creeps across the earth, the ethereal glow of snow collected beneath lonely streetlights that line the sides of desolate highways, and the melancholy quiet that seems to surround it all, offering a moment of respite from a world that otherwise never stops. this is truly a season of wonder.
