hey everyone! im so sorry i haven’t been around here as much! i’ll be adjusting my blog from active to semi/low activity just so everyone is aware of it! i have a good handful of active blogs right now in a few fandoms, so replies will be slow! if you think ive forgotten about you or our thread, please feel free to poke me about it i don’t mind being reminded!

Small huff escaped through his lips, pout spread across the follower’s lips. Every event involving the Akatsuki was way too much trouble, and even if Hidan was able to sacrifice the target, it was way too much effort to do so. Watching as his claws traced his jawline, magenta hues locking eyes with the god.

‘Y’don’t gotta worry, I’ll make sure t’get my sacrifice quota up! I ain’t gonna let y’down.’

           the god had always been amused at the mindless dedication and confidence that hung in the aura of his follower; even after being pushed into the akatsuki organization, he still did his best to keep up with sacrifices and prayers. he holds his gaze, a slight tilt of his head the only reaction of expression he offers. 

           ‘ i don’t doubt that you will, hidan. there’s a reason i gave you this gift. but playing around with mortals is beneath you, don’t you think? you could always give me some of them -- what about that partner of yours? ’

            activated orbs scan his hand,      accessing him as a potential threat. arms stay locked across his chest, taking note of his every feature. something about the stranger before him caused his stomach to churn — caution was key with any opponent.

                the god watches those crimson hues scanning over him -- and for a moment wonders just what they see. what could he see in the god? surely even the sharingan had little effect on a figure like jashin. ‘ i’m not here to hurt you, i assure you. in fact, quite the contrary. i want to help you. ’ he explained, arms folding over his chest. ‘ humans know me as jashin -- the god of death. you’ve been quite useful to me over the years, madara. and i’d like to offer you something in return. ’

              ‘ if that makes my existence easier for you to understand, you can call me that. i don’t lead humans to death. you do that all on your own for me. i simply collect the souls when they are gone. ’

upcoming semi-haitus!!!

ok so as some of you guys know i work for a tech company that centers around doing shows about space, and as MOST of you probably know, in a few weeks time there is going to be a total solar eclipse in the north american hemisphere. we’re going to be doing a huge show for it and it’s going to take up almost all my effort and time, so i won’t be available for a good amount of time. i’ll try to keep things running by queueing drafts up around that time, but i can’t promise my activity wont lag.

the dates i will be busy are sometime around august 15 - 22nd

i should be back to normal after the eclipse is over!

i was born in midair. i grew up barely breathing, and only distantly hoping to find footholes in the impressions of faraway stars. when you showed me that no one was waiting to catch me, the ground was not ripped out from under my feet. i had never been given anything solid to stand on. i cannot claim betrayal if i have never known love. nothing can be taken away from me. none of this has changed. the child in me is still bleeding into the open sky. the morning is still red when it snows.

“Oh, that makes sense. You’re there whenever I kill someone to take them to your realm. Makes perfect sense.” He draws out in a dry, sarcastic tone. Though hearing the mention of his partner, his eyes blinked a few times.

“Hidan? So in which case. If what you’re saying is true, then you must be Jashin? Then prove it.”

              ‘ something like that -- it wouldn’t make much sense to you as a mortal. ’ he explained softly, head tilting to the side. he didn’t much care what the human thought of him; he could hear the skepticism in his voice. ‘ yes, hidan. and how exactly would you like me to prove myself to you? ’

CRACKUZU:

“You mean to say, you’ve been following me? Watching me like some guardian? Your lies are becoming even less believable..” He scoffs, a sly grin hidden under his mask.

“Your devout child..?” He asks, unsure about who they were talking about.

           ‘ i am the god of death -- you have a trail of bodies under your belt that could shadow a war. of course i’ve been around you before. ’ a slight smile, and a tilt of his head. ‘ surely you haven’t forgotten your own partner -- he’s mentioned you to me before. ’

          ‘ this seems to be becoming a pattern with you, isn’t it? ’ the god emerges from what appears as nothing, floating just a few inches from the ground as velvet black hues fall on the bloodied and broken corpse on the table -- it’s fresh; whatever experiment the human had been running had failed. jashin had been keeping an eye on this particular human for some time; the trail of blood on that table was something of an interest. ‘ if they catch you, you’ll be arrested. does that not scare you, orochimaru? ’

“I’ve already chosen what I believe in.. Your words wont sway me in any way.” He grumbles. Though he uncrosses his arms, allowing them to fall at his sides.

“Whatever you say you are, why are you here..?”

           ‘ this is far from the first time i’ve been at your side. ’ the god nearly hums, a hand coming up to run through long obsidian hair. ‘ the fact that you can see me this time means something -- perhaps my devout child has swayed your thinking of faith more than you care to admit. ’
