I plan on updating this as often as I come across something worthy of being added to this list. I’ll make a post to let you know that something new has been added so you don’t need to check back all the time.

When vampires are portrayed as mainly preying on women that's so unrealistic like I'm sorry but they're too careful especially around strange men. Dudes are much easier. You could literally lurk in a bush in the park at night and call out "whoa look at this fucked up looking squirrel" and have 3 grown men climb in immediately
Also almost every woman I know has low blood pressure and so many are anemic. Men make for much better prey because 1) easy to catch yes and 2) so much more blood
There’s an emotion only unlocked when you live in a house with multiple stories. I call it “the stair emotion” and it’s when you realize the object you need is on the other side of yet another trip up and down those goddamn stairs. It’s the closest I get to transcending the desire for material goods. Maybe I don’t need that notebook. Maybe I don’t need anything.
Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade is sweet and tart for a perfect, cold summery drink that only has a few ingredients.
I’ll be drinking this all summer long, so I feel like that makes it a recipe that warrants sharing. 🍓🍋
Notes:
- For the love of all that is good, 1/2C of sugar is more than enough. 🫣 I feel like this amount gives the perfect balance between sour and sweet, but do what your heart tells you is right.
- If you have a blender, go ahead and blend the strawberries and rhubarb together after warming, instead of mashing and straining - this will result in a cloudier color, and if any of the lemonade makes it to the fridge, you’ll likely want to stir it before drinking, as it will separate into two layers. The taste is not affected by any of this, but it gives a nice, pulpy texture to the lemonade.
There's always something wild about reading an entire novel in a day. When I set it down at last, I had to remind myself, "Oh, yes, a reality exists outside this book."
I’m usually pretty good at not speaking “Danglish” when I talk to my family in the States, but this evening I was talking to my dad about the water from a natural spring tasting heavily of kalk, and got hit with a heavy, “Tasting of what???” So I started to say kalk again, and then realized what the issue was. 😅
I don’t understand how people are putting decorations on the countertops in their kitchens? When I’m in the kitchen, no surface area is safe. The entire room basically needs to be hosed down after I’m done. And you’re telling me that there are people putting little velvet rabbits and a carefully curated collection of votive candle holders and picture frames under a small lamp in the corner of their kitchen workspace? How?
