Midoriya yelped the second he realized who the man standing in the front room of his mother’s house was.  Of course it had to be on one of the days where he couldn’t walk without his crutches either.  Izuku laughed nervously, trying to reach for his crutches next to the couch.

“Kacchan...” The words left a bitter taste in his mouth, but he at least put on a facade of civility.  They hadn’t interacted at all since middle school; Bakugou had sent him a card while he was in the hospital but that was it.  Only Midoriya knew about his plans to ruin the other.

“Why did you come here?”  Another bitter laugh.

“Hi-” Midoriya offered a crooked smile, trying not to sweat too obviously.  He knew who this kid was; he had been watching Bakugou’s sports festival appearances.  Okay, mostly he was focused on what he was going to do to Bakugou one day, but he was pretty sure he knew this guy from UA, which wouldn’t be much of a problem except Midoriya was currently carrying $400 in stolen US currency to move it to a safer spot.  Peanuts in this industry, but enough to give any hero-to-be pause.

“Is there something I can help you with?”

Midoriya glanced up from the stack of books he was carrying, puffing a bit from the weight.  Recently they had been required more books for classes and his bookbag wasn’t big enough for all of them.

“Umm-” he raised his voice slightly at the first approachable looking stranger he could find, wanting to ask for help, but his words died in his mouth when they turned around.  He looked just like Midoriya, minus the scars.  “Uhh-”  Oh boy, what was someone supposed to say in this situation?

TEMPORARY ABOUT

Izuku Midoriya is 19 years old, and a student at a local high school (having missed a year due to injury).  He has black, almost green hair and prominent scars up and down his arms, with one on his cheek and another on his nose.

PERSONALITY Izuku is a clever but shy boy, with a dark core inside him.  Although he’s not naturally evil, he believes he was pushed to it by the nature of society.  He thinks that though his deeds are evil, the ends justify what he’s doing.  He can’t let what happened to him happen to anybody else.

HISTORY In late middle school, after a long bullying campaign, Izuku Midoriya attempted suicide by jumping off the school roof.  Despite the odds being against him, he survived, although he has prominent scars from the stitches he received afterwards.  He suffers from chronic pain as a remainder of the incident.

As Midoriya went through the slow, painful healing process, he grew more and more bitter.  Why should Katsuki, who pushed him to this, get a free ride to UA while he’s relearning how to walk?

And so, he began to think of a plan.  Ruin Katsuki from behind the scenes and ensure society changes so that this can’t happen again.  As soon as he could, he started with petty crimes, working his way up until he’d amassed a decent amount of money, and talking.  Talking to others who felt victimized and starting a following.  After four years, he’s built a reasonable sizeable following and has begun to compete with yakuza and other crime organizations for power.

NAME Midoriya uses the villain name “Dekinu”; from できぬ (cannot be done).  He thinks that it’s a reminder of where he came from, and what he’s trying to accomplish- he will do what cannot be done.
