hey remember when Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy were siblings

and Elizabeth was married to John Watson

and Bill Weasley asked Darcy for advice

on proposing to Heather Lee, who was Mr. Darcy’s sister-in-law

but she said no because she was expecting a proposal from Quicksilver

but Quicksilver left her for Elizabeth Bennet

and she was all leave, wait no come back

and Watson was all this is improper

and then Elizabeth almost died giving birth to Quicksilver’s baby

so she made Watson and Quicksilver be all chummy

but she didn’t die and she left to be with Quicksilver

and Bill Weasley was all ok now will you marry me

and Heather Lee was like heck yea

and they had a baby

but no one liked Elizabeth anymore

and Quicksilver started dating Enchantress

because Enchantress was a rich princess

so Elizabeth threw herself under a moving train and died?

I was in a flight and helped this old lady get her suitcase up. She was sitting beside me so I handed her an iPad, ‘cause they didn’t have any screens in the plane. She put Anna Karenina, and I helped her with her bag, I thought “I’m gonna be the hero here” she’s gonna be like “this beautiful man”, you know, 'cause I’m so beautiful. So she started watching and I was waiting until it get to my bit. When it got to my scene, she paused it and looked over and said “can you help me get back to the home screen, this looks terrible.”

Joe [Wright] loves playing with time, but in a similar way, he likes for a shot — in one take — to be both subjective and objective. We see Anna and Vronsky move onto the dance floor and sort of activate these dancers with their passion, so there’s already a metaphor at work. Then it goes from the real gradually into a more psychological sort of space, when he lifts her up and the camera swirls around her. At that moment there was an almighty stampede behind the camera and underneath the camera as all the extras had to kind of evacuate the auditorium really in the space of five or six seconds! But it’s an exciting technique to explore, because when you have that symbiosis between your actors and the camera, you can create another layer of dynamism. It’s a cinematic, sort of architectural travel. And that’s always the goal. It’s not to make a peacock of a shot.
