Having already spent some time talking to people Georgia broke away for a moment, to get a bit of a breather. Even as someone who lived to talk and make friends she needed a few moments to herself.  Seeing her girlfriend she smiled looking at her. “ I am, and even more now that you’re here.” She replied as he took hold of her hand. “ What would you do if I kissed you right now?”

Delia gently squeezed Georgia’s hand. “Kiss you right back” she said. Then, leaning in to whisper in her girlfriend’s ear, she said “I’d probably also be tempted to find an empty room among one of these hundreds and drag you into it.” She gave a light chuckle at the idea.

Although she wouldn’t describe herself as the most outgoing of her siblings, Delia wanted to make sure everyone here to celebrate her brother’s birthday felt welcome. So she headed down to one of the ship’s decks and approached the first person she saw. “Are you enjoying yourself so far?” she asked them. “If there’s anything you need, let me know.”

lia was definitely not planning on running into anyone she knew that night, let alone her sister. “del?” she furrowed her brow, then looked to the other woman. “uh, yeah. it’s all good. this asshole just kicked me out for no reason.” needn’t mind she’d been found vandalizing a bathroom stall. thelia shrugged, then dusted herself off. “it’s whatever, though. i’m fine. don’t worry about it.” she blinked at her sister, then clued in on the odd situation they’d found themselves in. “…were you out with a friend or something? we should probably go home.” before the bouncer calls the cops.

Delia bit her lip. She suspected there was more to the story than she was getting from her sister. But she was always on Thelia’s side, no matter what. So she simply said “You don’t want to be in this place anyway. I can think of a dozen places that are way better.” She breathed a sigh of relief when Thelia said she was okay. “Well, that’s good to know. Although you know I’m the sort to to worry anyway.” She gave a light chuckle, but it was true. “I was just on the way back from dinner. But we can go someplace else if you want. Maybe get dessert or something? she suggested.

Georgia smiled as she sat sipping her coffee. “ Well do you feel like sharing me today, or do you want me all to yourself?” She asked as she placed another kiss on the women’s lips smiling. 

Delia returned her girlfriend’s kiss. Then she groaned lightly. “Having you to myself all day is very tempting” she said. “But why do I get the feeling we won’t be staying cool if I say that’s what I want?” She smiled mischievously.

Sipping her coffee again Georgia smiled as she looked at her girlfriend while stroking max. “ Oh, I would have found a way to change your mind.” She replied as she winked at her playfully. “ So how about we go out later?”

Delia nodded. “That sounds like a good idea” she said. “I’m guessing it’ll be another hot day out, so maybe we should find a way to stay cool” she suggested. New York City summers could be scorching at times. The humidity tended to make her hair frizz up.

“this fucker started it.” thelia snarled toward the doorman, whom at that point had her by the shoulders and was shoving her out the exit of the club. beside him was another security guard, ensuring the safety of his coworker. thelia struggled in the doorman’s grasp, kicking and thrashing. the man tossed her on the sidewalk. thelia fell, then immediately picked herself up off of the ground. “are you serious?”

Delia was walking down of the city’s busier streets. She was on her way back from having dinner with a friend and was feeling pretty happy. As she passed by a bar, she heard a familiar voice. Turning her head, she spotted her younger sister. She immediately changed directions, heading towards Thelia. “What’s going on here?” she asked her sister, her voice full of concern. Thelia didn’t look hurt, but it was hard to tell. “Is everything okay?”

The women had been dating a while now and although she wasn’t quite there yet, Georgia was starting to develop feelings for Delia and was starting to picture them together. Delia always made her smile and feel special, she knew the women liked her for who she was and not her status. Leaning in she kissed her softly smiling as she sips her drink again.  “ I am happy we made it this far.” She replied, watching as Diva went and cuddled up to the women. “ It looks like she is too”

Delia returned Georgia’s kiss, unable to keep a wide grin from forming on her face afterwards. “I am too” she said. Delia might have been something of a free spirit, but she’d never been one for flings. When she was with someone, she tended to try and make an effort of it. As Diva curled up with them, Delia scratched the dog under her chin. “Its a really good thing I’m not allergic to dogs” she said. “I know that would have been a major deal-breaker.”

Hebe: She's lucky it didn't plug her right in the forehead. To be honest I'm proud of myself that I didn't throw it through the glass and at her.

Hebe: Oh yes, hello Delia. I should really try to remember numbers more than just contact information in my phone but alas...

Delia: I'm proud of you too. The company doesn't need that sort of lawsuit.

Delia: But why try to remember all that when we have tiny computers to do it for us?

Georgia knew Delia might be able to hear what was going on but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t try to play little miss innocent. “ They were on here when I woke up honest.” She replied with a pout taking the mug from the women she sips it.  “ God, you do make a good coffee.”

“Of course they were” said Delia, playing along with her girlfriend. It was much more enjoyable to do that than fight with her, after all. Besides, it wasn’t like it was that big a deal to have the dogs on the bed. She took a sip of her coffee, then she said “Well, we’ve been dating long enough that I should know how you like it.” If she didn’t by now, she would have been a lousy girlfriend.

The smell of fresh coffee was always enough to wake Georgia up even when she was in a deep sleep, she loved the stuff and had always drunk more than she should have. As she sat up Georgia smiled looking down at her dogs, she always brought them almost everywhere with her they were her life. “ Diva, Max come up here”  She replied as she tapped the bed and watched as they jumped up, smiling she strokes both of them.  “ It will be our little secret okay, you were up here when I woke up, got that?” She said laughing as she kissed both their heads. “ I wonder where Delia is.” She said as she spoke to them smiling.

The apartment was spacious, but not so large that Delia couldn’t hear the noise coming from the bedroom. Pouring two cups of coffee, she prepared them the way she and Georgia liked them. Then he headed in the bedroom, a cup in each hand. “I’m here” she said as she entered the room. She spotted the dogs on the bed and laughed. “Its a good thing I have a large bed, isn’t it?” She moved to hand her girlfriend one of the mugs of coffee. “You guys are so spoiled” she said to the dogs. “But you are awful cute.”

Georgia was working today but not till much later and it was only for a few hours and she had the whole of tomorrow off, so she had chosen to stay at her girlfriend’s house. They didn’t always get to spend so much time together so she made the most of the time they had, Georgia could not explain it but sleeping next to someone always ended up with her having a better nights sleep.

Georgia always slept in when she could as she so often had to be up early, so she made the most of her days off and the days where she went into work later.  Having no idea what was going on around here Georgia just pulled the covers over her more as she continued to sleep, as always every part of her apart from her head was under the sheets, even on some of the hottest days she always slept totally covered.

Delia gave a small smile as her girlfriend curled up under the sheets. Setting down her sketchpad, she slowly eased herself out the bed. She headed into the kitchen area of her apartment and started to make some coffee. She needed some, and she figured Georgia would want some when she woke up as well. As the coffee brewed, she poked her head out the window. It was already shaping up to be a hot day. Way too warm to be painting outside, in her opinion. Fortunately she had a space for this in her apartment. She was currently in the middle a series of landscapes based off pictures she’d taken around the city, so maybe she’d work on one after Georgia went to work.

amara  had  quickly  approached  the  familiar  individual  at  the  very  busy  club ,  she  was  surprised  (  to  say  the  least  )  that  they  had  actually  agreed  to  come  to  her  event .  “  hello  there , stranger .  to  what  do  i  owe  the  pleasure  to ? “  a  smirk  had  taken  over  her  features  ,  taking  a  sip  of  her  drink .  “ thank  you  for  coming  though .  can  i  buy  you  a  drink ? “  she  nudged  her  head  toward  the  direction  of  the  bar ,  keeping  her  gaze  on  the  familiar  face  in  front  of  her .

Delia wasn’t sure what she was doing there. It definitely wasn’t her type of place and she could think of a lot of things she’d rather be doing right now. But here she was, and she might as well be nice. “I figured it wouldn’t kill me to be sociable” she admitted. Besides, it was what her father would want, right? Then she nodded. “I’d love a drink, actually.” It would definitely help with her nerves. “A cosmo would be great.”

Delia woke up that morning to the sunlight peeking through her curtains. It was the weekend, which meant she got to sleep in and didn’t have to worry about hurrying off to the company’s headquarters for work. As a bonus, Georgia had spent the night. Waking up next to her girlfriend was always a good way to start the day.

Slowly, she rolled over in bed. Georgia lay next to her, her eyes closed. Delia wasn’t sure if she was still asleep. But if she was, she didn’t want to disturb her by moving suddenly. So she reached over to her nightstand and grabbed her sketchpad. Then she began to sketch out an image of her girlfriend.

renée needed time away, time to herself and just forget about all the crap that had been going on with her and melinda. sure, they were now both in agreement that therpy was in order - seperately and together - but that wasn’t a guarantee that they’d be okay. she wanted them to be. holding her that night after the brunch, even though she was drunk, was… amazing to her. she had wished to be that close to her for weeks, an eternity it seemed. she had decided to take her cajon to the park. she situated herself underneath a tree and had her phone plugged into her speaker to play the instruments that she couldn’t play as she drummed away on her cajon. bob marley always made her feel better. I shot the sheriff,  but I swear it was in self-defense I shot the sheriff,  and they say it is a capital offense

Delia had been pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the day was. She decided a day at the park was called for. She eventually found the perfect spot to sketch some of the flowers growing in the park. As she worked, she heard someone playing music. Turning around, she spotted a woman. Waiting until the song was over, she approached the other woman. “You’re really good on that” she said with a smile. “How long have you been playing for?” She knew skill like that took time to learn.

Hebe: So I got a new phone because the last one took a flight across my office & into the wall but for some reasons names didn't transfer with numbers

Hebe: if you can let me know who you are and if either of us should care if you're in my phone i'd be grateful.

Delia: I'm pretty sure that when that happened I heard one of the interns scream in fright.

Delia: This your twin, fyi.

( caitlin stasey | female | she/her ) is that ( delia vanderford ) walking around the streets of new york city? i heard the ( twenty-six ) year old  tends to be ( free-spirited ) & ( shy ). last time i heard, the ( creative manager at vanderford empire/freelance painter ) was blasting ( imagine by john lennon ) in their apartment. the tabloids whisper that ( she's using an alias in her art )! let’s hope it’s not true.

Younger of fraternal twin girls and the third of four children

Part of the Vanderford family, who is known for the luxury jewelry empire

Always felt like she didn’t quite fit in, preferring to spend her time painting than learning about the family business

But family is still very important to her and she’d do anything for any of her siblings

Her dad is the family member she is (or was) closest to, and he convinced her to come work for Vandeford Empire as the creative manager

Dad died of a heart attack at fifty, and she was devastated over it

She wants to become a well-known painter in her own right, not because of who her family is

As such, she’s using the alias “Delia Fitzgerald” when she signs her artwork

Isn’t into labeling her sexuality, but would say she’s pansexual if she was pressed hard enough
