It was a stupid argument over red hair pigment. But somehow turned into something really big. Basically he wouldn't admit to being wrong about it. Which made him mad because I knew he was wrong and when I showed him the proof (an article explaining it all) he then jumped into "I used to be a hairdresser" (first I'd heard of it) and then he went on to tell me it's proven that men are far more intelligent than women...those were his arguments for me being wrong, no actual reason/research for why he was correct. Just that women are stupid.

It reminds me of the time we had a discussion, where he said he believed that sexism didn't really exist. 🤔

Or perhaps the fact he told me he'd previously worked as a chef, but the only meal he ever made me was 3minute pasta with a jar of sauce...and that was after I had a meltdown that I worked longer hours than him, then still had a longer journey home, but still did all the cooking, cleaning and food shopping with none of his help.

Fuck knows why I didn't walk away either of those times. Now it would be more than enough for me to know this wasn't going to be my person.

I'm in such a weird mind set list the moment.

I'm calling this week a write off. I haven't decorated, I didn't write a cover letter for a job I want to apply for, I just can't seem to manage to write anything of worth or say anything building myself up.

I jump from feeling super low, to suddenly being super proud that I manage a basic task. Today I changed all my passwords to make them more secure. (Though I'm fucked if I ever get asked to log into here again, it's with a secondary email I haven't used in years and haven't a clue of that password. Oops so if I vanish that's probably why)

I go from feeling like I'm doing ok, to feeling in total despair.

Yesterdays walk. 2.5hr walk in the cold.

I didn't last so long in today's rain.

My mom has fairly severe respiratory issues and is recovering from joint replacement; her PT told her the same info about sleeping/sitting positions and how they impact the lungs. Fascinating.
