Delilah Tweedle || Twenty-Five || Stripper || Non-Magical
🌹Biography:
Ever since Delilah was little, it was her and her brother, Dean. They lived in the poorer area of Arendelle and their parents were kind, but busy people. They normally left Delilah and Dean to their own devices because they had to work, but they were okay with that. They were twins, Dean a little bit older by a few minutes, which meant he watched over Delilah like a hawk anyways. When it came to school they were teased for sticking to each other like glue. They weren’t really into making friends and if it wasn’t something for that, it was for their clothes being old or their hair being messy. Delilah took up sewing when she was young so she could tailor their clothes into something impressive. Something to keep people off their backs. It worked for the most part but there was always someone who had something to say. So to get people to just say nothing to them at all they would talk in unison, bounce off back and forth enough to creep people out. Delilah didn’t mind coming off creepy. It was better than coming off weak.
This mindset followed her into college. Community college because that was all they could afford; Dean was far more into school than Delilah was. All Delilah wanted was to be adored. She was a beauty, and she knew that, so she spent hours tending to her clothes, her makeup, and the art of flirtation. She was good at it and she had a trail of broken hearts behind her because she wasn’t the type to get too close to anyone. They had to go through Dean normally before they could even get a first date, which was hard enough. She loved Dean so much but she couldn’t stand the suffocating! She just wanted to be able to be pretty and be loved and make money off of that somehow. She debated becoming a sugar baby for a bit, but she wasn’t really into having sex with older guys. At least not old, old, guys. So her search went elsewhere. She was going to school for something she cared nothing about and for a moment debated beauty school. But then she found Wonderland.
At first she went there on a date. The date was awful, but the atmosphere to her was perfect. It was kinda shady, it was small, but it had so much life and everyone who worked there was a character. The costumes were vibrant and the dancers were beautiful; she wanted to be on stage, dancing like they did. Being admired and adored but not being pressured to do things they didn’t want to do. It was empowering to her to see those girls dance and steal the money and hearts of the men who watched them. The teasing, the theatrics; she wanted to be like them. Dean was against it. He hated the idea of his sister stripping onstage, potentially putting herself in harms way, but Delilah loved the danger! And besides, she had made friends with most of the people who worked there by the time that she was begging to get the job. They needed the money anyways.And once she took the job against Dean’s wishes, everything changed.She felt she belonged somewhere, had a crowd of her own, and even though her brother ended getting a job there too to keep an eye on her, she was willing to let it slide so she could do what she wanted to do.
🌹Opinions on Magic:
She doesn’t really care for it. She isn’t for it or against it.
🌹Connections:
Quinn Hart: Delilah hates her. She is trying to buy Wonderland from under the owners and she doesn’t want that to happen! She is a cruel woman and she would turn Wonderland into something it wasn’t.
Chace Cheshire: Her bestest friend outside of her brother. He was the first friend she made at Wonderland and she would be lying if she said she didn’t have a bit of a crush on him as well.
Phoebe Pomm: She is a fellow dancer at Wonderland, but the two girls don’t really get along at all. She just can’t read the girl and she seems to be doing this for shits and giggles which annoys Delilah since she genuinely loves doing it and needs the money.
