The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.
A Bronx Tale (1993), Dir. Robert De Niro (via tombraiders)
âŠ.. god. this is such a Power Move. this is the funniest fucking thing iâve ever read about anyone. your fave could never be this aloof.

I am my lover. I am the one that tends my garden. I am the one I will always say goodnight to last.
Nicholas A Browne (via wnq-writers)

âI want excitement; and I donât care what form it takes or what I pay for it, so long as it makes my heart beat.â

People will love you. People will hate you. And none of it will have anything to do with you.
Abraham Hicks (via wordsnquotes)

âYou like flirting with danger, because it is the only thing that makes you feel alive.â

griffshepherd:
âiâll do it so quietly you wonât even realize, until the stench of my decomposing body takes up all of the air,â harsh and dramatic? probably. now, if he was in there for the foodâ or snacks in this caseâ heâd try to do something for her to give him some. hell, heâd brood. because that was what he did. heâd brood so hard it became uncomfortable for the other. âluckily for you, iâm not here for that, so you can keep your cheetos for yourself.â instead he pulled out a cigarette and lit it up; this place was after all the least crowded section. âyou donât snitch, and i wonât.â
âhow delightful,â she shot back with the kind of sweet smile that was all kinds of fake, rolling her eyes a little for the dramatic effect of it all as she moved her focus back to her food, and tried to ignore him. tried was the operative word, of course. it was pretty hard to ignore the only other person in the room as you, especially when their own gaze remained on you. âyou arenât seriously going to-â oh, but he was. she hadnât even finished her furious observation when griffin did, indeed, light up his cigarette - and though she understood the WHY ( the empty kitchen was as good a place as any ), she couldnât help but feel.. vindicated. heâd done this on purpose. chosen her space, invaded it, and set about ruining it with cigarette smoke. go. figure. âdid it occur to you at any moment between taking that up and lighting it up that i mightnât want to sit here, inhaling your cancer? cause i donât.â
athenasriddle:
it was only seconds after athena turned her back that she heard the shattering of glass. she rushed in and kneeled down, looking at the photograph. it seemed like the girl just couldnât catch a break. she closed her eyes tightly and let out a deep sigh, picking up the frame. âitâs fine,â she mumbled as she stood up, photograph in hand. she walked to the garbage and quickly took the photograph out, throwing the frame into the garbage. perhaps this was a sign to let go of the pastâ of HIM. but she just couldnât. he made life worth living, and now each day was more and more difficult. there were few things she had left of him, the photo being one of them. she set the photograph back down on the counter and went back out to grab her bags, practically dragging them through the door. âso which room is mine?â
it was such a cruel twist of fate that throughout her horrified silence, all delilah could think was - someone was doing this on purpose. someone or something out there had done this to them both - forced them together, perfectly placing the photograph of the familiar, smiling dead boy before winding them up and watching them go ( itâs called a mun, delilah honey x ). all she could do was watch the other girl, noting the gentle way she held the photograph opposed to how she threw the frame away without care, knowing that meant something. heâd meant something to her, she thought, and her stomach flipped uncomfortably as she did. it was just her luck. âi really am sorry,â sheâd never meant those words so genuinely. âi hope i didnât ruin him-â she caught herself, cleared her throat, "it. the picture. is it ok?â all she knew, suddenly, was that she didnât want her new roommate to know what she knew. if possible, she wanted to avoid that, and avoiding it started by pretending she hadnât even seen who was in the photo. âyouâre the first room on the left,â she answered straight away, hovering at a distance from the younger girl, now, âi can still help, if you want. with your less breakable things, obviously.â
&&. @samarasmodeâ
"oh, shit-â if you asked delilah, it wasnât entirely her fault that the empty plastic bottle that had previously been hovering through the air suddenly fell - right onto samara. yeah, it was her magic, and sure, she was the one who had chosen to do that instead of picking it up and walking it to the bin herself... but it wasnât like sheâd lost her focus or something. it was more like for a moment, her magic had completely flickered out - kind of like when the crystal went off and left everyone powerless. for just a moment, it had been non-existent, and that was long enough for accidents to happen. she didnât feel like taking the blame for that when she didnât feel as if it was entirely her fault, but with no other culprit in sight to hope the blame would fall to, delilah knew she had to dilute her expression with some concern and ask- âare you ok? i didnât mean for that to hit you.â
