Completed ch1, and the dialogue options in hometown are so strange. Like itās clearly catered to the undertale knowers and fans, talking about Alphys to Undyne and knowing Sans.
But it also seems like Kris want to tell people about the dark world (bc of their experience with the bunker probably..) and Undyne treats it as a joke, and they canāt get to Carol.
Also Asgore saying that the flowers are still going strong or something, is there a meaning behind those flowers in his shop? And a locked door too.. flowers will be important next chapter. Wonder if the locked door will open maybe.
Kris misses Asriel when looking at his locker in school, and tried to push their fingers through the table/bench holes but they donāt fit and only touch cobwebs. Something sad about that. Also Toriel being stuck in the past with her memories of Kris and Asriel, and not knowing the hurt it might have caused with Kris getting to know that theyāre never going to grow horns.
Also Rudy is so suspicious!! Threatening to throw berdley out of the window and stuff. Like he treats it as a joke but there is real emotion behind it. After that Rudy is the knight video, Iām so sure that he knows more about all this dark world stuff. Carol too. Probably because of the Dess incident. Umm but keeping an eye on him. (Iād believe it if he were the knight. We dorm know much about Dess so thatās an easy candidate too, but sheās probably stuck somewhere right?)
Omg. So there are noises near the bunker, but theyāre not coming from the bunker but from the forest next to it. ??? Is it from below, or in the forest. Theyāre so strange too, like glitcjing noisesā¦ like the phone? Weird dark world things are going on around there.
Krisā name being short for Krismas or something is interesting.. like Toriel is religious and it probably has to do something with the prophecy? Iām not sure about this but I know it means something. The holiday family house is huuuuuggee too.
Undyne saying that itās boring in the town and wanting something to happen lol. Then she gets kidnapped later. You can also talk with her about Alphys and that she could hang o it together. Interesting.. like ch1 has a theme that your choices donāt matter, but there are these little thingsā¦
I donāt think berdley is annoying, Iām happy that in ch2 he gets to know that he doesnāt have to pretend to be better or smarter to be loved. He clearly tries his best (even when it inconveniences others. But often itās unknowingly.).
Noelle!! Noticing Kris is different, moew talkative. It also seems like Kris waits until the other asks something so they can answer. Or they really wanted to see Carol that time (scary dark world moments). (You know Kris defended Susie in ch1. Maybe Kris was scared that Susie will get hurt irl.) (Iām sure the dark world must be a lot for Kris, old memories and stuff)
The assistant/doctor in the Hospital also notices that Kris doesnāt play the Piano like usually. And they seem sick? What happened before ch1 that we are Krisā soul? Kris knows about us since they look at us in the end cutscene of ch1. ..
Papyrus!!! We never see him in ch2. When Sans talks about seeing him. I wonder what happened. Did they notice the dark world and changed plans or something. Sans seems to have him time and space thing still (and the whole Gaster thing). So maybe they are also doing things behind the scenes.

One of the pezza place workers is in the hospital, and there is police tape left of town. Something must have happened before ch1 recently.
Oh the hometown painting in the mayorās building! There are more houses I think behind the school. Saw some theory about it years ago. Idk need to check up on that one again. Catty notices that you are still alive. Oh!! Monster kid (teen?) talking bad about Susie makes Kris angry. In that story Susie tried to fit in and join the game, but accidentally hit Undyneās car.
The blood thingā¦ does it hurt to be made out of blood.. what is the deal with blood who bleeds . The rules are different than in undertale. So whatās up?!!!
I love ch1 characters and music <33 and story and I love deltarune! I love tv! Ok I think thatās it. There are more thought but Iāll put them in other posts. Like the father Alvin drawing of Gerson probably in the school.. and Kris not being interested in the Deltarune religion and thinking about the juice (based juice thoughts).
Oh one thing! The teen next to the green fire teen in the diner talks about skipping school and going to the diner instead.. Iāll look into it more later. Kris lore moments.
