Kris summoned us with the help of Gaster, a red soul before the game. The second voice in the intro is Kris. Kris used to have a cyan soup soup soul but it got replaced with us? Or maybe since they don’t have magic (and catti didn’t stay during the summoning or something idk if catti was there need reread somethings) Kris gave up their cyan soul for the red. Maybe the red soul has the power to reset? Or like meta powers so Kris can fulfil their plan of probably “finding her”. The device is us being connected to deltarune world, possibly trough the big dark world under home town. # my theory # still thinking

So Kris is working with someone else, most likely Carol but like the double truces they also have their own motive/plan and maybe working with multiple people (the promise in your heart might be made with Dess, working with Carol, and the fun gang.) yeah!

Pink is an important character just like all the other secret bosses.

Ok but I have to talk about Muffet in deltarune.

There is a poem in the church about donating for spiders. The Pink fight uses the purple soul like Muffet

I feel like deltarune will answer undertale’s mysteries/things that were unclear. Like the chara is evil thought process making it instead clear that it is YOU. Or something. And the Gaster followers. Umm and more I can’t think of right now. Oh and Toby fox also comments on the idea of sparing everyone being the best route in ch1

Digging hole theory

Lancer talked about digging a really wide hole

Lancer dogged a hole and the acid went up like a geyser, like a fountain.

Ch5 Susie, Ralsei and Yellow digged a hole to get Yellow out but he wasn’t in it.

Ok I don’t have a big theory but, maybe this is about the darkness under Hometown. Something about Dess or the event that happened years ago/the plan going on with Kris and the phone caller(s).

You can still give Tenna away to Mettaton in ch5. Kris didn’t give Tenna away on their own. Noelle wanted to hold on to Tenna incase Dess comes back. Maybe Kris also has that feeling and that’s why he’s still in castle town without a previous save file. Or Kris doesn’t visit the ghost house normally that could also be it.

I think that Burgley sounds really funny

But the subtext is sad :( some people don’t even remember his name. Like the whole thing with queen and berdley is that she avoids him and doesn’t like listening to him. If the universal mom theory is true it’s sad that his parental figure treats him like that. Though that Gerson’s family grandma calls him burgley I think so that’s probably where that came from. He is constantly seeking approval and trying to be the best so people will care about him. I hope berdley will be more included in future chapters (his isn’t my favorite character but I do wish the best for him.)
