Joey Badass Speaks his Thoughts On Trump In "Land Of The Free"

Joey Badass has never been one to hold back his opinion on politics, social and racial issues. This holds true on his latest track "Land Of The Free", which incorporates a vintage Joey flow over an intergalactic instrumental courtesy of Kirk Knight. The track is mad mellow and has a deep groove that Joey does justice, even if our country doesn't. Joey Badass isn't the only artist speaking their mind about Trump and using their vocal outlets to make a difference. Arcade Fire & Gorillaz are also being vocal through their latest releases. Joey's sophomore album A.A.B.A is dropping sometime this year.

Arcade Fire Returns With New Track "I Give You Power"

It's been about 4 years since we've lasted heard a new song from Arcade Fire, but amidst the absence, the popular indie rock band has still remained in our favorites and more than likely yours as well. Their new track is a big departure from their last release, Traveling further down the road of heavy electronic sounds and louder vocals. The new track "I Give You Power" features Mavis Staples. Khalid Highspeed - Come Kill Khalid (EP Stream)

Get familiar with Dallas's newest upcoming emcee Khalid Highspeed, as he drops off his debut EP today. The young artist has been putting in overtime trying to complete his debut body of work, and it came out pretty good. The 6 track EP is a quick listen, filled with familiar samples transformed into boisterous production. There's a range of different emotions and sonics throughout the EP, which can make for an interesting listen. The audio quality is one of the only drawbacks from the experience. The Nike Air Spiridon Ultra Hits Retailers

The Nike Air Spiridon is on the horizon as it looks to hit shelves soon in "Ultra" form. Much like the original Spiridon that released in 1997, this model sports the same colorway. The "Ultra" rendition sports a lighter, more breathable material. As vintage runners continue their resurgence throughout 2017, Nike strikes with perfect timing with the release of this coveted model. The Nike Air Spiridon is already available at select retailers at a price point of $140. Expect these to hit more Nike stockists within the following week.

Florida emcee Dan V Hefner returns with an all new visual for a dark & dreary Spaceghostpurrp produced track. The "Darkseid" visual comes equipped with a vintage VHS looks, gloomy imagery, and saturated colors. The visual was shot and directed by Full Metal Parkas and edited by Tobi Visuals. Be sure to lookout for Dan V Hefner on his headlining tour "1234 Bitches" with Dr. Millionarie coming to a city near you.

Recap: Yams Day 2017

In loving memory of ASAP Yams, his inaugural festival had an even greater turnout this year. Selling out The Garden is no easy feat, but somehow managed to do that even from the afterlife. This year saw unimaginable live performances from ASAP Rocky, Tyler The Creator, The Weeknd, French Montana, Kendrick Lamar & practically anybody else you could think of. The positivity in the arena was astounding, so many different kinds of people came out to honor Yams and his unbridled character. 2 Chainz and friends head back to the prohibition era, for their latest visual efforts. The video for "Good Drank" features Quavo & Gucci Mane, so you know it'll be a solid delivery. My favorite track from 2 Chainz latest EP "Hibachi For Lunch". Instead of selling illegal alcohol the crew has their own mix of "Drank" to ship around. 2 Chainz is set to release his next full length LP this spring, April 7th to be exact.

Halfway Off The Balcony - Big Sean

Listen to Big Sean's latest single. His forthcoming album "I Decided" is like right around the corner. Set to officially release on February 3rd through the GOOD Music label of course. Sean met with Zane Lowe today from Beats 1 and spoke about the album revealing a few key details like production credits from Metro Boomin, and features from Jhene Aiko, Eminem & more. Big Sean also spoke on the looming influence that Kanye West had on his album. Even Andre 3000 said "It seems like not a line was wasted on this album". Famous Dex Ft 12TilDee - Break Her Off (Official Video)

Famous Dex & 12TilDee return with an all new jam in the form of "Break Her Off". These two have dropped nothing but heat in the past, and this new track follows suit. If you haven't heard "Took Some Time" Or "Break My Back" it's safe to say you're losing. 12TilDee brings out melodic vocals and coupled with Dex's energetic and brash flow the two always make good music. Reebok's "Shaq Attaq" Returns For 25th Anniversary

Reebok's infamous "Shaq Attaq" model is returning this weekend specifically to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the shoe. This sneaker was exceptionally forward when it released due to all of the different technologies found throughout the shoe. The "Shaq Attaq" was one of the first signature shoes on the court to see the use of the pump and it also came equipped with a Graphlite midfoot shank for stability. These shoes debuted at the peak of Shaquille O'Neal's time with the Orlando Magic. These shoes are set to hit select retailers this weekend, January 20th.

All new music from Medasin as he drops off the brass & bass heavy track "Territory". It's always a treat when you get new music from Medasin and especially with this latest cut. He tracks a break from the melodic and chiller vibes for something a bit heavier. In fact, it may just blow your ears off, but that happens. Medasin is right on the cusp of mainstream success and 2017 is the year he goes all the way.

Hollywood Hills - Hevy Ben$

People have been telling me non-stop that Hevy Bens is exactly what the city is missing, after hearing his breakout track I may be inclined to agree. Hevy Bens latest track "Hollywood Hills" is a progressive ballad with a haunting soundscape and deeper than the surface lyrical content. We never dropped our "Best Video list" due to a few complications, but more than likely the number 1 spot would've gone to a Yakiyn & DanceDailey collaboration. These two just have impeccable chemistry when working with each other. It seems like all of their visual are just meant to be. We've waited a while for this latest one, "Loft" is here. It's a party with this one, as the crew hits the loft, way at the top with an assortment of girls and alcohol. It also looks like Yakiyn is previewing new music at the end of the visual, this could be a debut project, another single or soemthing. Watch it now.

2 years later the sage continues as Devy Stonez releases the follow up to 2014-2015 visual "Talking Bout". Once again linking with Kissed Killed for this stunning visual delivery. The southern fried R&B jam is nice for just about any situation. Devy Stonez and Kissed Killed are just one of those combos that always creates good music together. Devy's "Rolling Stonez" album has almost accumulated 500k streams in under a year. You've got to wonder what's in line next for the two artists.
