Zinnia knocked on the door to the guest room.

“Lady Freya?” She walked in a little bit. She didn’t want to cause any disrespect, so, despite the fact that she knew that she was likely welcome, Zinnia still treaded lightly. “Hey. Ya don’t mind if I talk ‘ta ya a bit, right? I’ve been wonderin’ ‘bout a few things with your home.”

Freya looked over at the knock on her door, gently setting down the book she was reading. “Hello Zinnia, I don’t mind at all. Come in and sit, feel free to ask what you wish, dear.” Freya motioned towards her bed from where she sat in a chair. “What exactly do you wish to know? I’ll answer whatever I can. I just hope my answers will satisfy you’re curiosity.” After all, she didn’t know a lot of the events going on with the humans, just things that she had to be called in to deal with.

Hoopa couldn’t stop chuckling as they attacked– 

But his laughing soon ceased upon realizing what he was dealing with. That was a Rayquaza–

–and she was coming right for them! Hoopa braced the attack, taking some damage, but it wasn’t nearly enough to knock them down. Hoopa shakes off the damage!

“Now Hoopa turn! Hoopa remember move to fight with!”

Hoopa-Unbound winded up an attack before using two of his arms to attack the large dragon.

Hoopa-Unbound used Dual Chop!

The move was Super-Effective!

Freya winced at the attack, but was still up and going. She wouldn’t be taken down that easily. “I’ve taken worse attacks from my children.” Freya sassed back. But she needed to try and finish this quickly. She didn’t usually like going all out as she’s about to, but needs must. She would not let this stand. She’d finish this and help truly save the day like she promised she’d do.

“But since you think you’re so tough... I shall just have to see if it is true.” Freya quickly readied herself and then aimed right at the giant Hoopa. She might not be able to Mega Evolve without a trainer, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t use one of her kinds strongest moves.

Freya used Dragon Ascent on Hoopa!

Hoopa wasn’t letting Freya get away that easily. The Djinn sent out six rings to encircle Freya. Using these holes, Hoopa attempted to attack!

Hoopa used Hyperspace Fury!

“!!!” Zinnia saw that Freya was in a jam. “Freya! Watch out–FUCK–” Zinnia quickly jumped back, barely missing another Dragon Pulse from

“Alright hotshot! Ya wanna play, huh? Goodra! Kingdra! Go help Freya! IZA!”

Izanagi already knew what he was being called to do. The dragon returned to her and shot a ray of light RIGHT at Latios!

Izanagi used Photon Geyser!

“Shit.” Freya had not expected that really hoping Hoopa wasn’t paying attention to her. But that’s what she gets for not planning ahead. She registered Zinnia’s dragons coming to help but for now... Well, she couldn’t risk dodging while surrounded so-

Freya used Protect!

She waited out the barrage and then used her small size to slip out of the ring of hoops before Hoopa could use his next move. “Well, since I’ve been noticed anyways. Perhaps power over size will be better.” With that Freya quickly allowed her form to shift.

Freya transformed!

“Well Hoopa, if you want to fight so hard to protect that crystal, lets fight.” With that, she decided she needed to get close and fast. Her moves were mostly physical, after all. And that left one move.

Freya used Extreme Speed on Hoopa!

Zinnia brushed herself off. “Yeah. I’m alright. I’ve fought Latis in my sleep. Ain’ no big deal.” She took out two Pokéballs. “I’m gonna guess you’re another Legendary if you can fly up there an’ use Dragon Pulse, so, yeah. I’ll see what I can do–”

Zinnia tossed the Pokéballs. “Goodra! Rain Dance! Kingdra! Dragon Pulse!”

Goodra used Rain Dance! It started to Rain! Kingdra’s Swift Swim activated! Kingdra used Dragon Pulse at Latios!

Latios dodged out of the way before glaring at the trainer. It was going to take a little more work than that to scare him off.

Latios used Luster Purge on Goodra!

Meanwhile, Hoopa was paying particular attention to Freya. He didn’t want someone to just sneak that crystal, right?

Freya gave a slight smile at that. “That I am. And I’m also used to fights. You’ll see, I’ll get that crystal.” She may seem overconfident, but she was confident in her abilities. She hadn’t lost many fights, and she refused to let this be one of them. She then kept on her toes until the Latios was distracted by Zinnia’s Pokemon, and with that she took off running again, gaining just enough speed before jumping.

And with that she was in the air, giving her better agility and movement. And the rain could give some cover. But she might need a bit more speed, so once in the air, she quickly used a useful move, quickly dancing from side to side until she felt the power flow through her.

Freya used Dragon Dance! Freya’s Attack and Speed rose!

With that, she quickly took off first trying to fly towards the newfound cloud cover from Rain Storm. She didn’t know if this would work, but she damn well would try.

[ZINNIA AND FREYA VS HOOPA]

Zinnia looked over to Freya through the chaos. “Hey! Name’s Zinnia.Don’ think we met, but if you’re here to help–” Zinnia pointed at the crystal still in the air. “Ya see that? We need to snatch it before Darkrai tries another black hole! Let’s go while they’re distracted!”

Zinnia started to run after the crystal as the chaos ensued around her.

Hoopa-Unbound paused before noticing the duo making a break for the crystal. “Hoopa sees!” Hoopa

A Latios came out!

Latios used Dragon Pulse on Zinnia!

“!!!” Oh fuck! Watch out!” Zinnia jumped back, barely managing to dodge the attack! “Looks like they’re not gonna let us through that easily–”

“Freya, and right. It seems simple enough.” Though Freya had been in enough battles to know that just because it seemed simple, didn’t mean it would be easy. But she nonetheless took off running after Zinnia, trying to gain enough momentum to take flight in her human form. It would be easier to go unnoticed in her much smaller human form than has a huge ass dragon. Only for it to soon be confirmed that this would not be easy. Freya made sure to stay on her toes, eying the Latios. She tried her hardest to not picture it has her son. “Right, not gonna be easy.”

Freya took a deep breath before focusing on the Latios. She didn’t have the heart to fo with something too powerful, and she’d prefer to avoid getting to close at the moment since it would take a bit to get in the air. So Freya kept a close eye on Latios before aiming...

Freya used Dragon Pulse on Latios!

Hoping that would scare him off for a bit at least, Freya quickly glanced at Zinnia. “You’re okay, right? If so I need you to find some way to distract them long enough for me to get in the air. It’s a pain trying to fly in this form and actually takes some momentum for me to get up there, but I’m hoping my smaller size will allow me to get closer without drawing more attention.”

Hera was surprised by the hug, but she allowed it. It was good to have a caring soul around that wasn’t directly involved. She was silent, letting the burst of emotion flow through her, but not actively against her. She cried enough today. She didn’t want to get back in that habit again.

“Th–thank you, Freya. Honestly, just hearing your support is enough.”

When the hug was over, Hera looked back into the room and walked in. “Yeah. Apparently Sky Pillar was messed up and crumbled before Rayquaza got his act together. He said it took him months to help get everything to be livable, safe, and furnished. Of course, this was before I came to this world, so I don’t know just how bad it was before that.”

“You’re welcome, dear. Even if it is enough, my offer for help while I’m here is still open. And if you can get ahold of me and moms not watching, it also extends to when I go home. You’re my friend, Hera, I wish to help in any way I can to make you as happy as possible at any given time.” Translating to Freya didn’t expect to suddenly make Hera forget her grief or anything, but bring moments of happiness even to it if she can.

Freya also gave another look around the room, following Hera in. Truly, it was quite nice. And hard to picture Sky Pillar to be too much of a mess. “Hmm... I have no clue. I’ve come back to a few holes and it being messy before when I’ve been on long missions... but it’s always been a relatively easy fix, especially with my children’s help...” It usually only took a week or two for repairs if the Lati’s helped her, and unless all three were on missions her home didn’t usually get that bad. The concept that a Rayquaza could slack so much his home fell into ruin... was interesting to Freya. “I almost wish I could laze about that much, but it doesn’t quite sound worth it.” Mostly the thought of having so much time to relax was what appealed to her. She was too active to actually do nothing, but she could use the time to play with her children.

“Well, either way, my dear. I thank you for the invite and the room, as well as your Rayquaza. I appreciate it very much. And I want you to remember I’m also here to talk, dear. If you need to get away from Rayquaza or something because your upset but don’t want to be alone, I am here and willing to listen or comfort or whatever you need.”
