I imagine in this au any actor that ends up getting a lead role in one of Showfall’s shows gets some sort of mechanical attachment thing. Something they can’t really remove even if they wanted to? It’s so that the company could make sure it’s potential star character could always be controlled or found easily if they were to escape …before they went bankrupt at least! Now they’re really only useful for showing whether or not the person is alive.

He doesn’t really want to be here, but when you’re stuck in an infinitely sprawling mall having to avoid the local security monster, having other people around is kind of important

I really like this design it makes me wish that I’d shown where the Showfall button thingy is on Charlie in his concept page

And in all good sequels, the hero must return.

AU idea I had…. I imagine it’s not about the greater Genloss story, just about what happened in the Generation 1 world after The Social Experiments. Basically Showfall is defunct because they couldn’t find a replacement for Ranboo that the audience liked, and idk maybe Charlie wakes up in the abandoned mall with a bunch of his memories wiped and he finds Ranboo who is still very much alive.
