Some examples of the blades we make. Each blade is made from nightsteel and titanium alloy to be both dependable as well as lighter than normal steel with a better resistance to rust. Hardsilver is added for a bit of a fancy finish while also allowing for a better conduit for material placement. The metals are folded together and forged in dragonfire. Each of our swords and daggers are unique as no two patterns on the blades are the same. Depending on the blade prices will vary. Here are some examples of our stock.
Cutlass: The perfect blade for the high seas. Short enough not to get caught up in the railings of a ship’s sail, but long enough to provide plenty of reach.
Katana: Our Katanas are properly balanced and unlike others sturdy and not liable to break when striking wrong. They are keenly sharped.
Falchion: Sturdy and strong, the falchion is the perfect blade for those strong strikes while also adding in a bit of a swiftness and maneuverability.
Seax: A more sturdy dagger. This one is the dagger equivalent of a bastard sword in my honest opinion. Sturdy, but light. Perfect for those close quarter fights, or for your daily work and grind.
Dirk: Ah the dirk. A perfect thrusting dagger when you find yourself without your blade or spear or in close quarters combat.
Dubh: Though it may seem more fitted for a lass, one can always have something small and well hidden such as a dubh on hand.
Along our adventurers traveling the world we have been everywhere from the Far East, to Eorzea, to Thavnair, and even beyond. During these journeys we have picked up many fine forms of garments to share with you all today. As of now our selection is based off of Ishgardian and Thavnair fashionable dresses.
If your Gshade isn't working this morning, it's because after the dev installed a malicious code to shutdown a computer if using a bypass tool to logon to one's games without having to update Gshade yet again (with claims people were using it to "steal shaders" that are also available through ReShade, but really it was by Marot's own admission to bully a 16 year old girl who had figured out the workaround for GShade's excess updates), GitHub was notified by other users and performed an investigation.
You can imagine how well that went over.
The GShade GitHub is gone. It's going to be necessary to carefully follow the guides to manually uninstall GShade as the uninstall 1) won't work without updating, which it can't now, and 2) wasn't actually uninstalling anything but the desktop shortcuts anyway, in my experience. I had to manually remove it from Program Files and Public User folders (even though I told it Not to create backups, it did anyway and put them there). Please don't mess with the leftover Registry and symlinks without certain guidance if you don't know what you're doing there. You could damage your computer.
Some of the guides come with links to GShader folders to make the transition process to ReShade--the original program GShade was a fork of--smoother, though one may need a hand from a tech savvy buddy. There will be shaders that won't work as they were made for Gshade specifically, and a few other things to get used to/change over.
I used Gist's Guide here as I had already manually uninstalled GShade when I went to decide between ReShade and StormShade (which hasn't been updated in years and has no simple install either).
Soma sighed to herself before limping into the entry hall of the Dracofox. She took a moment to look around and shook her head, “too fancy for me still.” She mused to herself.
The airship had just recently became the main headquarters of what remained of the Ryukaze. The new head had after a bit of a teleportation accident caused by one of his sisters repaired his home and transformed it into an airship along the lines of a smaller version of the Prima Vista.
And sitting at the main desk of course was the clan head. Dem was groaning to the dragon Pyre and his twin sister about supplies, and more importantly paperwork. “Listen I’m just gonna burn the annoying paperwork alright?!”, Dem remarked with an almost pleading look.
Pyre sighed, “It’s all important Xaela. And if you want to get that fuel and more air crystals and of course get the Ryukaze officially signed on with the Adventurer’s Guild then you need to go over it all.
Ash chuckled, “Pyre’s right brother.” she took a sip of her tea, “Besides after that you need to figure out what to do with the plot of land this place used to reside on. I was thinking of just rebuilding the keep in it’s old likeness myself.”
Soma coughed, “excuse me you lot, but I got some news for you all. It pertains to your sister, Koharu.”
Dem stood up and stared at Soma. Ash sighed and the twins asked, “What happend now?”
Soma put her hand on her hip, “Well while gettign a shipment for my own airship in Ul’dah I saw a bit of a commotion, a man attacked a pregnant woman. Suffice it to say I called him a craven wretch.”
Ash nodded, “As you should.”
Soma smiled and nodded, “So he confronted me and mentioned that said pregnant woman also used dark magics and shot feathers at him and her husband tried to sucker punch him. Now I dunno about you lot, but that sounded like your sister Koharu based on the file I read.”
Dem rolled his eyes and just sighed, “Let me guess the crowd was split based on the guy attacking her and of course Koharu using her powers in the open.”
Ash just facepalmed, “I really wish she would stop being so showy about her powers in public. Then again i wish she didn’t get into a brawl while pregnant too! I swear I dunno who gets into more trouble, you or her Dem.”
Soma nodded, “Indeed. Luckily before I arrived others had carried her off. I eventually caught up to them but Koharu and her husband ignored me even when I called out her name. they just teleported.”
Ash gave Dem a look, “I suppose they either didn’t recognize Soma, or they are pissed at you and Kaera for the Ambrose thing to the point of ignoring you and the clans.”
Dem nodded, “Aye. It was to be expected on that one. Kaera and I sorta fucked that one up. Though I still blame the echo for that one.” He stared back at Soma, “Anyways continue my friend.”
Soma shook her head, “Well one of their friends a gunblade wielding female Xaela confronted me after I remarked about reporting this to you two. Mentioned taking my head. honestly I’ve had worse threats levied at me. Regardless I tracked the guy down, he was in a fight with someone else, I tagged in and won though he still draws breath cause of the Thamuaturge Guild’s interference.”
Dem nodded as he absorbed all the info, “Well you did the right thing in it all. Thanks for the update Soma. Go ahead and make yourself at home.”
Soma shrugged, “Not really my home, but sure why not. I’ll talk to Sera about some muffins or something.” Soma walked down the stairs while clearly favoring her left leg likely the aftermath effects from her fight last night.
Dem looked over at Ash, “Well looks like it’s time to hire some bodyguards for Koharu.”
Ash shook her head, “Let’s not be too hasty.” she thought for a second, “then again after the pastry incident...”
Dem’s brow lifted, “Pastry incident?”
Ash sighed, “Well i wasn’t going to tell you, but well I had Z’rossi shadowing her, call it helping him with his Sera-”
Ash was cut off as Sera ran upstairs with her new gun contraption. “Z’rossi! That fucking nerd owes me money! I will find that fucking nerd!” She would kick open the door and race out of the airship.”
Dem just chuckled, “I fear for the doors that encounter her one this Star, especially sheng’s apartment door. But as for Sera, I hardly ever need to worry about her since she has a track record for not getting hurt and getting out of trouble.”
Ash sighed, “As much as I hate to admit it, her powers and abilities do speak for themselves, but yeah anyways. Z’rossi saw Koharu and Jurche take a random confection from someone. This woman did not give anyone else anything else and just ran off. It was spiked. Koharu was speared likely from her healing factor, Jurche not so much. I did give them a lecture after the fact and Z’rossi wants nothing to do with them since well her friends interfered with the investigation.”
Dem sighed, “Of course. I wish I’d have known sooner.”
Ash smirked, “and you being the protective older brother trying tyo make up for lost time would have overreacted.”
Dem just stared at Ash before conceding a nod, “Fine alright. But this just proves my point.”
Pyre spoke up, “Well I suppose you both should know, and this was before she got pregnant, Voland was relaxing at the hotspring in Kugane, and spotted them. That kraken voidsent thing attacked, they fought it off with my help when I was called of course, in fact I’d say I made the biggest difference!”, Pyre boasted with a big grin on his dragon maw.
Dem blinked, “Wait is this how you got us those vacation tickets to stay at the Bokairo Inn for free?”
Ash elbowed Dem in the side, “Stop interrupting, continue Pyre.”
Pyre snickered, “indeed. That inn owner thinks my kind brings great fortune. Anyways I digress. Jurche Bolt got all spikey and the Orl Sister cocooned herself in void ice. the guards arrested the pair though Nhiko escaped, Voland talked herself out of the problems, and the grumpy Raen guy also talked his way out of any issues. As did your other sister, the one that say’s “Scree” all the time.”
Dem and Ash both just stared and blinked in bafflement, “Alright we gotta find that void kraken lady.” Dem remarked.
Ash nodded, “You do. And why are you telling us this now? And how did they get out of it Pyre?”
Pyre sighed, “Much like you Ashwrynn I kept the secret cause I knew you both would over react.”
Dem smirked, “Pyre has a poin-oww!” Ash had elbowed him hard in the kidney.
Pyre continued, “Anyways with my testimony, some Ryukaze names being dropped, the inn owner recounting what he saw, and Voland being a damned good lawyer they were released.”
“And this is why Kaera and I think she needs a bodyguard. Not just to keep her safe, but also to keep her safe from herself.”
Ash sighed, “I’ll concede the point Dem. Even before our family crap affected her she was getting into trouble. How many times was she hurt and in their tribe’s medical area? then she was impaled at least twice, once by the Chagan, and the other i witnessed...in fact that was the first time I met her too come to think of it.”
Soma came back upstairs with a glass of bourbon, “Honestly I know you two aren’t asking for my opinion, but based on the file yeah she needs protection. Dark Knight powers can already be confused for void ones, and her using both while in a delicate state with her being you know pregnant with twins doesn’t help.”
Ash nodded, “And she and her husband lack common sense thanks to the pastry incident.”
Dem rubbed his chin thinking, “So yeah bodyguards, but I just thought of a problem with that.”
Ash sipped her tea, “her friends. they’ll insist on intervening and thinking they know best. I’ll be honest with you it’s a problem Dem. Add in I doubt they have the highest opinion of us due to us being strange, bringing about a chaotic element when we show up, and then add in the Ambrose stuff that you and Kaera accidently unleashed.”
Dem sighed, “Aye. Your right on all counts, but I just want the record to show Ambrose and the time I got captured by Meridus remain my biggest fuck ups, yet compared to the Orls...”
Ash patted Dem on the shoulder, “We’ve all made bad choices. Tan won’t let me live down not wearing white on Tsagaan Sar and saying that brought us bad luck and got us and S’ummi captured.”
Soma smiled, “Honestly I’ve made my own mistakes too. Rhalgar knows I’d like to fix some of them, and even have had a good conversation with dad before he passed. But, you need to make it seem like it’s her choice. Either she gets the bodyguards that her and you two agree on, or if she decides to unless it’s Ryukaze business like Ambrose for example, you let her make her mistakes even if it leads to the loss of life.”
Dem shook his head, “No. It’s not just about her and Jurche anymore. She is carrying our niece and nephew or any combination of those words! If something were to happen and we were in a position to make sure or at least do our best to prevent it!”
Ash patted Dem on the shoulder again, “Calm down Dem. Soma is right. She should be able to make the choice. Even if it leads to her death or her twins. We both agreed we can’t watch over her 24/7 since our lives are already busy enough. And if we push this she’ll just push back and her friends will too to the point where a fight will likely break out.”
Soma downed her shot, “Trust me, this is the best option. She fucks up well she made the choice to keep you both you and your resources at arm’s length. I know it’s harsh to say, but well you can’t help some people.”
Pyre looked at Dem, “Listen if the Orl sister wants to get into fights while pregnant she’ll do i. After all she is your kin and is as stubborn as you.”
Ash smiled softly, “he’s right. You do go out and fight or seek adventure despite being nearly dead and need to be on bed rest from time to time.”
Dem sighed as his shoulders dropped, “Fine. She is a Khatun and an adult. We’ll give her the choice. She can make the decision herself wherever that leads.”
Ash nodded, “Good. Now I’ll deliver the message and hear the story of this fight from her account. I think it’ll be better this way since she is likely pissed off at you still.”

Journal entry, What happend and looking forward to the new adventures ahead.
It’s been a long while since I wrote in this thing. Well where to start. A lot has happend over the past year. Far too much, yet I’m filled with hope for the future and the courage to see it through despite the odds.
I guess I should write it all down, the good, the bad, and the well weird and crazy. It’s no secret to my inner circle that I was born into darkness as a nightkin. Yet I full understand it now and even my own darkside, the reflection of myself from the 13th, Kane’talos. A prince and spare whom though jealousy and political machinations lost the love of his life, was sent to the front lines and when the 13th began to fall, became a voidsent, the same voidsent my father in his borrowed flesh, his own reflection at that infused into me at the moment of my birth.
Yet, I don’t hate him or my brother from the 13th, Abel’loth or as I’ve come to know him here, Ambrose, the shadow leader of the Mazoku cult who used the Shinbon in an ill guided attempt to gain power from their god, my father both here and on the 13th; Amatsu-Mikaboshi in the Far East, Anthelios to his followers in the 13th and of course in the texts in Ishgard and Sharlyan, but his true name Xanatos. There is a bitter sorrow to him abnd from my interactions I’ve had with him recently he wishes for us to be a family, a twisted on with plans to merge the 13th with the source and create some sort of undying utopia.
As for Ambrose, he wants the same thing, but more importantly power, and revenge against Kane...against me for even existing, foiling his machinations, and just the general sibling rivalry turned hate. Kane made him feel inferior on that last night he was mortal, made him fully understand how petty and powerless he really once was.
I feel sorry for my brother, but I know one day again we’ll cross swords now that he is fully here on the source planning whatever moves he can to both appease our father and get to me, while using me against father for his own goals. At least for the time being my friends, family, and the Mazoku were able to stop whatever scheme the two had planned and even banished Xanatos back to the void. Though it was costly, many died that day, and my wife, twin sister, and friends, Pyre, and even myself were broken and battered from the fight, but yet somehow through sheer effort and force of will I was not taken to the void with my father despite his last minute plan for it.
On a brighter note though well Kaera and I married back in June. We’ve been happy though a bit apart with her rebuilding and fixing the Shinbon Clan after centuries of void influence, along with her businesses in the new Wrestling League, and Blitzball. I intend to play in Blitzball again this season but not as a goalie, but as a forward. I think I got the knack for it!
Before we got married too Kaera and I along with my mother were able to avenge my Grandfather by killing my long lost and thought dead Uncle Khadan from the Dotharl side. He along with his wife Olivia mal Roma, and Cassius sas Meridus were the ones leading the Vlll Legion, helping the Mazoku with their Project Chimera, and responsible for Gramp’s death and even Sofia’s. But with Meridus dead by my hands and now Khadan that just left Olivia.
Ash finished her off after a very intense rivalry. One complicated by Olivia and Kaera being friends in the past. Ash killed the mad woman twice, her original body, and when she soul transferred herself into a clone body, but not without much pain and torment. Ash did conquer her demons, and has taken our cousins the newly born and reincarnated Khadan as her son, and well Rosealine as her ward and aide for her endeavors in sharlyan as a teacher.
As for myself, well I mastered my darkside thanks in part to Ambrose meddling or was he hoping for that outcome, and thus was able to meld myself, Knae, and even the dragon eyes I found into my own power. I’ve still got a long road of learning with not only refining those powers, but learning more about monks and chakra, and astrologian skills.
As for my other sisters, well Sera is continuing to invent and cause chaos while maintaining her bakery with her boyfriend and well her apprentice a Loporrit named Sugaringway . Infact after all the above battles some of which happend at our place, we ended up upgrading the keep into an airship. Something between a Garlean super airship thing, whatever those are called and well what Garlond Ironworks makes since well Sera finds time to tinker with them too. I’ve actually been learning to fly which has been fun, and it’s not much different from flying the flying car.
And i’ve discovered I have two other sisters, a woodwailer named Lottie whom well we don’t have much in common but I hope we can make the relationship better. And then there is Koharu Orl. the three of us along with Ash share the same father. Seems Xanatos found is reflection here who was an Orl. Anyways Koharu is making plans to rebirth the Orl Tribe alongside her husband Jurchedei. They are actually expecting now, though well with the chaos of my life I think it best I stay away for the time being. For their safety and their twins. On that note it seems an Orl tradition since the tribe lived on the boarder with Doma was they’d get a guardian yokai. Ash and I were no exception, thus our fox friends that keep following us about. Daichi seems to bring me good luck and gets along with Shiro my shiba, Zeus and Data my courel and panther respectfully. Oh and Muffins tolerates them all, Muffins being the Yol I tamed during my Mettle on the Steppe.
Anyways now I find myself possibly the man in charge of the Ryukaze clan, or rather what’s left after the war with the Mazoku. Sure, I’ve beaten back primals voidsent, and the like, hell I got a best friend as a dragon, defied death, got married, achieved with my twin our revenge, and played Blitzball in front of thousands. I even sang and performed on stage and became a woman at one point. anyways leading a clan scares the living shit outta me...yet I can’t let them down. Just as I won’t let my family and friends down. Sure my father is in the 13th and that will be a problem, and Ambrose is here, yet there is plenty of fun and adventure on the horizon and I look forward to it. For the first time in years, I’m actually happy to be alive. I may lead the Ryukaze now, but I’m still a Ronin and adventurer, cursed child of the Dotharl, husband ot Kaera, friend to Pyre, big brother to my sisters, but most importantly I’m me, and I’m free from the darkness that used to squeeze my heart. I’ve conquered despair and found hope. And this hope and new spark of well I suppose happiness will guid me forward onto these new adventurers!
Just an RP Pro Tip from someone who has either been an officer of or leading RP guilds/groups for the past 10+ years:o
“IC does not equal OOC” does NOT translate to “OOC feelings don’t matter.”
It also does not mean if someone is upset about something that’s going on in an RP OOC that they “need to grow a spine.”
OOC feelings absolutely do matter when you are playing with other people and not just writing your own stories. Other players are not your NPCs. They are people who are going to have–I know this sounds weird–actual feelings about the things that go on during RP.
OOC feelings about what’s going on during a plot arc, RP session, etc…absolutely do matter, and if you’re leading an event, are a guild officer, or a guild leader, it’s absolutely part of your responsibility to make sure everyone involved in the RP that’s happening is having a good time OOC.
That doesn’t mean nothing bad can happen to characters IC, it means part of the responsibility of leading events or plot arcs is to make sure your players are having fun OOC regardless of what is going on IC.
If your players end up in situations where they feel their character can’t do anything right, can’t ‘advance’, can’t ever succeed no matter what they do, or is always getting in trouble even when they’re trying to avoid it (and that is not part of what they want to be happening), your players are not going to enjoy the RP.
YOU might be enjoying it, especially if your character is one in a position of power, but if all you ever focus on is whether the people in control of the situation are having fun you’re going to find that you run out of people to play with after awhile and will get a reputation you might not necessarily want.
Yes, this applies even in settings where there are strict social rules/norms or strict hierarchies of power.
Yes, this means your military leader, high ranking Sith, pact commander, squad leader, or whatever a ‘high rank’ is in the game you’re playing can’t just walk all over players who have characters of a lower rank unless that’s the scenario that’s been agreed upon and, even if that is the agreed upon scenario, you still do regular check-ins with those players to make sure they’re still having a good time.
If they’re not, that’s when you pause the RP and figure out what can be tweaked so everyone involved is having a good time and enjoying the RP OOC.
It is not appropriate for you to ever brush aside one of your players saying they’re not enjoying the RP scenario with, “It’s lore/canon, keep IC and OOC separate.”
Doing that means you’re doing a very poor job at event/scenario leading.
- “Just because my character is mad at yours doesn’t mean I’m mad at you.”
- “Just because our characters are in a relationship doesn’t mean that we’re in a relationship.”
- “Just because my character doesn’t like yours doesn’t mean I don’t like you.”
It is never and has never meant “OOC feelings don’t matter.” or “If you get upset by something that’s going on in an RP that involves your character, you’re mixing IC and OOC and need to stop.”
If you think it does mean that, you’re unconditionally wrong.
it is the loneliest day of a vampire's life, the first time they look into a mirror and see their reflection missing. Drinking blood sucks too, don't get me wrong, but as a vampire, you had to learn to hide from the sunlight, from your family, and all your friends, because you were unavoidably different now and you didn't know how to explain that to them in a way they would understand. You could get a stranger's blood in bursts, but what is life when you can't know someone for longer than the night lasts? You left everything behind because it was easier than trying to tell them. I just hope you know you're not the only vampire out there, and that there exist people who will understand your situation without a word. They'll sit with you in the dark for as long as you'll need them to.

A small PSA to all those new to dealing with the porn bots that Tumblr now has a fresh wave of – I understand that when you go to report them, you want to report them as "[containing] sexually explicit material", but don't do that. Report them as spam instead.
These are spam bots flooding tags and the website in general with spam links. They often do not have anything sexually explicit on their blog (although they often have implicit material). Plus, these two reports get very different results. Reporting explicit material gets the bot slapped behind an 18+ wall, so minors can't check if they're a bot or not. Reporting spam gets the bot taken down.
Remember, folks: when dealing with a bot, report spam, not smut!
