I actually don't remember how I happened upon this (imo) super cool poster for the 1910 Verona Air Races, but it probably had something to do with WPA posters. When I saw it, I immediately knew I wanted to do a Cas and Dean themed version.

My thanks to @whoipretended2b for workshopping a quote/lyric/poem to go with it. I had no idea how I was gonna tie giant true form bird-Cas carrying a naked Dean to the show at that point, but as soon as she said this one it suddenly made so much sense!

And just for @demetriustheangel, a process video; around 8 hours of work condensed into an insane 5 minutes. It's going so fast, things like drawing solid shapes and colouring line art just kinda magically appear. I'd sketched Cas before I realised, 'Hey, I can turn on OBS!' I also forgot to turn OBS back on for part of Cas' highlights... oops. But in particular, please enjoy the moment at about 58 seconds in when I draw Dean's face and he looks fucking ridiculous. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Imagine how traumatizing that must have been for that poor girl, your father just turns him back at you "I am not your father" and he just leaves to never come back

We got some nice scenes with Cas and Claire interacting but I wish it was more explored, their relationship is so messed up

Cas destroyed a innocent kid's life over something he doesn't even believe anymore

And Claire obviously doesn't hate the guy in further seasons but maintaining a normal friendship with a creature that's your dead father's doppelganger is not an easy task I assume

Finished watching iron lung :3 it sure was.... something? It definitely seems niche? I guess? I mean i'm not a horror fan, not a markiplier fan, and have very limited knowledge of the iron lung game so i'm probably very far away from the target audience... tbh i just wanted to be able to understand the Bloody Mary fanart 😭💀 but it was good nonetheless! Very ahhhh interesting. It actually kept my attention throughout the whole movie which really says something

The corridor was gone. The bunker’s dungeon walls rise around him instead—cold stone, iron rings, the faint smell of dust and old magic. He doesn’t remember walking here. He doesn’t remember anything between chasing his shadow and… this. “What are you doing in here?” Dean asks, voice low, cautious. Cas opens his mouth. The truth right there—I saw myself—but the words won’t come. They dissolve before they reach his tongue, leaving only a hollow ache in his chest. “I don’t know,” he says finally. It sounded small. Wrong. Dean studies him. Not with concern—Cas knows Dean’s concern, knows the warmth of it even when Dean tries to hide it. This was different. This was cold. Clinical. Like he was assessing a threat. Something inside Cas clenched.
