Thai do not name their ships according to top-bottom dynamics like the Japanese do. Thai ships are following the slash system, meaning that the one who's put in the front does not necessarily be the "top".

As per my observation, they usually put the one whose name has fewer syllables in the front eg. KristSingto, PondPhuwin, OhmNanon, FirstKhaotung. And if both have the same number of syllables in their names, the older one will be put at the front eg. TayNew, OffGun, BrightWin, EarthMix.

But naturally, the above observations are not rules that are strictly followed by the fandom and/or production companies. For instance, there's NeoLouis, ForceBook and JoongDunk, who're named following their in-show top-bottom(?) dynamics. Then, there's JimmySea, because Jimmy himself uses JimmySea in a promotion programme.

So, what I'm trying to say is, call your ship whatever way you want, just do not expect ship names will always reflect the top-bottom dynamics of your ship in their TV series. 🫰

Edit in 2023: it seems that the Thai ship name trend is getting more like Japan (eg. Going for the top-bottom naming). But still, I'd like to stress again that, you can call your ship whatever way you want, just remember to respect others for their preference ok?

Too much focus on the idea of fiction media as a causative agent of real life harmful behaviour, and not enough emphasis on the idea that what you get out of a work of fiction is heavily dependent on how you approach said work of fiction.

I can root for Aragorn to become king of Arnor and Gondor within the parametres of the narrative of LotR, without in any way supporting real life absolute monarchy, because I’m not a real life monarchist, a conclusion I reached at some point in my early teens while also consuming a healthy diet of fantasy fiction where the hero was the long-lost heir to some kingdom. Meanwhile, royalists who glorify the concept of returning to some imagined heroic past in real life are of course going to have their ideas reinforced by LotR, precisely because they seek out narratives that support their preconceived notions. In neither case is LotR the causative agent. Every story is a story, but every story is also a vessel for the reader to fill with their own idea of what the story is saying.

It's just yesterday that I knew Podd was in the crank-up / wrap party of Only Friends Dream On.

I understand he could just be like Joong, who was in Perfect 10 Liners' party because he was hungry and he wanted to meet up with friends... But I could hope that he had a role in the series, could I not?

Like, we all know the drama and chaos it would bring if he was in it. Imagine this, he could be an ex to Earth or Gawin's character, or he could just be someone who's in the process of getting to know them, just like how Papang was a potential boyfriend of Mark's Nick.

I know some do not like this idea, but as a PoddGawin stan, I just want some crumbs. And if there can be more, I want that too. Sorry for being greedy.

It's funny because they are both really aware of what the other is doing. Err can't seem to stop himself from trying to see what Mawin is doing, while Mawin is always noticing that Err knows the answer and yet he always wait before telling it.

At the same time, it's kind of sad that Err is spending so much time studying to get better and yet he doesn't trust himself. He always hesitates.

As much as it seems to be a trait of Err's personality, I wonder if he didn't become this way because of the school system. I've always felt like many students are having doubts because the school system doesn't allow them to be wrong or to make mistakes. In fact, it's in contradiction with the idea of "learning". When you're learning, you'll make mistakes sometimes. That's an essential part of studying.

No one truly noticed that Err is always keeping for himself the answer for fear of making a mistake, except for Mawin. He saw him and he told him that it was okay. He could do it. Even if couldn't, it's okay. I feel like this is the kind of granted freedom that Err was looking for so he can truly succeed. He doesn't need to make Mawin incapable of finding the answer, he needs to trust himself more.

I'm back! For Muteluv Hi by my luck!

Guess I'll never be tired of High School Romance, cliche as it may seem. Sometimes I wonder as I grow older, does that make me a weirdo for liking teenagers' love stories, but I digress.

The plot certainly is one of the formulas - young boy A being forced to stay at close proximity with young boy, and for some reason he had to get close to the latter, who was very distant with the whole community.

But if it is executed wonderfully, boom, here we got a sweet little boy-meets-boy plot.

And I'm very proud to say that Keen and Sea had improved quite a bit in their acting, their ErrMawin was so so sweet, I cannot take it alone, that I have to come back here to make a shout out after my long absence.

So that director finally got cut off by GMMTV...

He's good at what he does, eg. Making romantic comedy with an adequate level of angst. I didn't watch a lot of his series, but FUTS and Only Boo were great.

Yet I guess his morality has always been questioned by fans, he takes things as jokes, when sometimes they are simply not. I still remember that unnecessary plot to mess with Mork at the carpark... And this time, it's just disgusting and disappointing.

But I guess people don't really change except there's a great event that impacts them. Hope he'd learn a lesson. But he's replaceable. There will be other new directors who can do what he does and have better personality and better moral compass.

Breaking my hiatus to bring everyone’s attention to the fact that Cornwall is now attempting to be officially recognised as a nation within the United Kingdom.

Kernow has its own language, culture, history and identity. The language was forcibly removed by the English until the last monolingual speaker died in 1777–her name was Dolly Pentreath. It has existed as a kingdom before England had ever existed. Historically, Cornwall has been a place exploited for minerals and resources and labour. Currently, it still is. There are now ghost towns where once thriving fishing villages stood (Mousehole, Pentreath’s home, was one of these). Cornwall is now a playground for second home owners who drive up house and rent prices and drive out permanent residents and workers. Local businesses go out of business and struggle to stay afloat when the influx of tourists come who only purchase from supermarkets, putting nothing into the local economy. There is a long, long and often very gruesome and bloody history behind this—leaders of rebellions executed all the way into 1715.

If you are in the UK, and sign the petition to get this to a debate in Parliament.

Someone brought up water for damn good reason. I don’t think anyone really understands. Cornwall literally has no choice other than SouthWest Water for water supply, a basic human right which should be nationalised anyways. But how many people are aware that SW Water use Cornwall to dump massive amounts of sewage into the sea?

Between the lack of British government funding, celebrities buying multi million pound mansions in Cornwall and leaving them empty 3/4 of the year, all the seasonal workers who companies hire from other counties to work during the tourist season, it should be obvious why Kernow should want some self-governance. It’s been fucked for centuries, a play pen for rich people, a novelty with their silly little language and silly little traditions, just look how quaint. Meanwhile the actual Cornish people swim in their shit and pay for their second homes while being driven out of theirs.

Fun facts! Cornish is the closest living relative to Welsh, linguistically speaking - the revival has a fascinating history, and at the start they used Welsh and Breton to help 'fill in the gaps' to work out what orthography and pronunciations they'd lost (though by now a new and fully Cornish orthography has been developed). I know a few Cornish speakers now, and although the two languages aren't quite mutually intelligible, they come very close. Reading and hearing it always makes me feel like I'm having a stroke lol, so similar and yet not quite close enough...

Crucially, no Cornish person I've ever met considers themselves English. And, every time I have ever been to Cornwall, I've been met with delight when I've said I'm Welsh. One pub we went in even had Welsh rugby memorabilia on the walls, because they support Wales over England. There's a real cousins vibe, and a definite Celtic-not-English identity
