INFO — Dr.McCallion is a Murkoff worker, director of Project Burner. Project Burner is a project that aims to brainwash and rewrite someone's entire personhood, their psychological shadow. To break someone so deeply they're truly rebuildable. Burner's goal is to be used worldwide as a form of "interrogation" along with propaganda and control; the procedure can be used to create civilians, terrorists, prisoners, and Murkoff's favorite, assets.

Demi created the project alongside Dell Brunner and Sailor Claudius, two fellow Murkoff workers.

Demi was brought to Murkoff in pursuit of workers for Brunner's previous project. Demi stood out in the street life. A woman who treated bodies like projects, the perfect hand for a company as deeply sick as Murkoff. A young agent, C. Perry, was sent to retrieve her upon being given intel of her by an undercover agent.

When he arrived, Demi's murderous scientific spree had been ended by the police. She was "bailed" out by Perry and taken on a "date" as an "interrogation tactic". Said tactic went too far, ending in the agents motel room bed.

By the morning, she was taken to his car, sleeping, and brought to a Murkoff facility to be given a new identity and a new job.

While working, she was approached by Brunner, whose project had failed. He wanted a friendship, he wanted a work partner. Demi humored him, and soon the two had opened up to eachother. Through this, they slowly began to build up Project Burner.

Midway through, another worker joined them, Sailor Claudius, a VERY popular cartoonist. One who shared their knack for torture.

Soon, Burner was fully created and given life by Murkoff. Sadly, their first subject failed, but someone still saw potential in them. Lathe. Not just Lathe, but Easterman. He wanted to keep them under his palm, to hold control from the sidelines. He offered funds in exchange for a partnership.

Therefore, their first "real" subjects were for Lathe. Assets. And the rest for the current future will be the same.

Demi is—*Cough cough*—WAS married to Clyde Perry before his death. She's currently carrying his bastard children, this'll likely be brought up at some point!

A lot of dark topics(Such as SA, abuse, child abuse, suicide, etc...) will be mentioned here. If you're sensitive, this is your warning to please stay away!

It's times like these where I need Clyde. I want him more than anything in the world. He wouldn't know what to do, but just having him there would make everything so much better.

Clyde had a way of making me feel happier whenever he was around. He didn't have to speak, all he had to do was stand there and look pretty.

I enjoyed knowing that the second I got home he would be there, he could help me through all my troubles. Frustration, sadness, emptiness, I couldn't expect him to get it but I knew he would try.

To me, he was everything but. He was charming, he had a way with words, he was like an angel sent down from heaven, my angel.

And I miss my angel everyday. I miss giving him kisses, I miss his soft belly and those squishy little cheeks, I miss his sweet smile and his evil grin...

I miss holding him, I miss being with him, I miss having him here with me. But alas, there's no use. I'll never have him back. Not even my own research is enough to bring him back. My life's work, research I've spent every waking moment of my life on, and I still can't bring him back. I must be the most pathetic, useless little bitch in this facility.

My subjects are such cute little creatures. Let's take the fox for example, he's so skinny he's practically translucent! You can give him rotten fruit and he won't mind, he's such a hungry little boy!

And the Commander? I don't like him. But he's charming, always smiling, always so desperate to protect his little victim... I have to admit, when Lathe offered a partnership, I didn't want to take it. I wanted subjects for me, for us. For Burner.

But now that we have the trials, they're like homes to our subjects. It's adorable to watch them interact! The Commander is so mean to the little fox it's hilarious to watch them fight!

He's so submissive, he never fights back. It's definitely an issue. When Easterman says he wants trials, it means he wants violence. If an asset isn't violent, then what are they even there for? Decoration?

The fox has killed before, he has it in him. He's just too scared to do it. I don't think it's a failure in the procedure, he walks on all fours and makes animal noises(not exactly “fox” or “hound” noises, but then again, what does the fox even say?) He acts like an animal.

But maybe he's too animal. Like a deer, he runs off at first contact. Our first subject was a failure because we were too hard on him, he regressed far more than we needed him to, he was scared of everything. Poor Carter, always ready to beg the moment any guards walked in...

The similarities between the two aren't good. But the difference is that the fox managed to become what we wanted, all we did to that poor reagent was traumatize him further. We wanted a loyal slave(we tried to make it sound different but in hindsight, that's all we were looking for) and instead got a disabled and depressing reagent.

If it weren't for Lathe taking pity on us, our entire project would've been put away because of Jacobs. We are so blessed to have Commander, he acts right. Perhaps we need more conditioning for the fox, he's not quite ready yet sadly.

He's what we want, he's a success to Burner. But to Lathe, he's a failure. He's not complete yet. They need blood, we need PEOPLE. Everyone wants to make super soldiers and slaves, but nobody thinks about neighbors, about teachers, about PEOPLE!

If we lose Lathe, we get a strong hit to our funding. Enough to ruin us. The moment we're allowed our own subjects THEN we can escape from this dreaded collaboration. Until then, we're stuck having to please that balding little... Ugh!

I remember how Clyde used to act before what happened. I remember how heartbroken he was to be put down. He cursed that baby man for days...

I remember my husband sometimes, and other times I remember Clyde. The sides he'd hate me talking about, the sides he needed me to talk about, I remember so many things...

But all I can do is remember. I can't see or feel anymore, I only have my mind... I wonder how he thought of me. Truly. The way I saw him tended to change depending on age

As a younger woman, I viewed him as big. As strong. He was older than me by a few years, but to me it was a lifetime. He was wiser. He was beautiful. But he wasn't human

As me and our relationship grew, so did his humanity to me. I saw it, really saw it. The way humans were supposed to be, the feelings they had, the love they felt... I wanted a decoration, I had never really known how humans were like. I got so much more... For the better or worse.

He opened up first after I had given him enough lies to seem vulnerable. He hated it, he really hated being vulnerable like that, but it felt revolutionary for me. I held him so close that night it felt like a snow storm the moment he left my arms

He was my prime example of a human, someone capable of hurting others, of loving others, of feeling sad and glad and scared and... All sorts of things... Slowly, I began to copy his mannerisms. His joy, his sadness, his love...

I felt human for once. It felt so amazing, I wanted nothing more than to scream and shout and dance around! Human I am, human I will always be! For once I didnt feel cold, I felt warm, I felt my skin and organs and muscles and... Everything that kept me together!

It keeps me from being a corpse, keeps me human, and God how amazing it is...

I have nobody else to thank but my Blue... He cured me of whatever ailment I had suffered 19 years with and gave me the gift of humanity!

I hate remembering he's gone... I wish I could've thanked him. I never gave him a full thank you, it hurts so horribly knowing that. The day he died, I didn't tell him how much I loved him. How much he did for me. I told him I loved him and gave a simple goodbye.

I didn't just love him, I needed him. I adored him. He died thinking I simply loved him, he died thinking of me as just a wife...

Sailor didn't get to tell his son that, he didn't get an ‘I love you’. Yet I feel horrible for getting to tell him that. Strange, huh?

I wish he could still be here. I can name so many different memories.. The way his eyes widened when I told him the news, the way his eyes sparkled like a child's. A father, the greatest achievement for a man to have, and it was ripped from him by that stupid rat bitch! Disgusting...

He was so excited, he wanted so badly to have that life with me... I can't help but feel angry at how unfair it is...

I'm rambling, it's unbecoming. But there's just so much to say about Mr.Blue!

Why did you decide to stay with Clyde? He's.. a very mediorce man you know..

Why do you breathe air? Why do you brush your hair? It's simple. That's your answer, it's simple.

Clyde was... Simple. Average in all the ways a man could be. But he was charming, he had those beautiful eyes and a voice only comparable to... To a siren!

He had a song that truly drew me in, but unlike a sailor I did not drown, I got the chance to catch him in my net. With such a valuable luxury, what else was I supposed to do? Throw him back into the sea? Where all the worthless street whores of Havana could rip open his clothes and ride him into the sunset?

That was clearly not a choice. He was average in many ways, but he was especially valuable in a particular... Sport. I couldn't share it, nobody else deserved to have something like him.

But, in truth, it was because I loved him. A kind of love you only get when you're young and stupid, I'm not gonna get it again. I can make as many excuses as I want, but everyone around me knows, so there's no point in hiding it. I'm allowed to talk about it, I'm allowed to grieve. I'm just as human as the rest of us. Humans are complex, I'm complex, and—!

Everyone and their mother is here. Sailor says I should have this here, he says this is important... I don't see it. But I know a lot of people from the Murkoff use this as well. There's no reason for me to be an outcast.

I'm hoping for better results than what I've seen from my coworkers. Really, it's saddening to watch their behavior. Like a fallen baby bird calling for its mother from the ground... I don't know what they're calling for, nor do I really care.

I enjoy sounding smart, but I don't like putting too much thought behind it. I have work to do, people to see, I don't have time to truly be... What's the word? Forget it. You should get the point.
