  Piyo stared at the man when he raised his eyebrow at her. “….c-Canines?….Ah…you mean my fangs…” 

When he placed a finger on one of her fangs, she tasted a little bit of blood. Her pulse changed rapidly as she clenched on her skirt, trying to calm down. 'j-Just calm down, as long as I hold it in he won't get hurt..' She thought taking small deep breaths.

✂ Ah, you're probably another one of those leeches, the ones who don't even ask for permission. 

He placed his finger on her lips, letting the little drop trickle down. His grin grew wider and his heart was racing, he loved odd beings, especially testing their might.

     ✝   “Ah, sure…” He grinned at the other male, stepping where he was directed and rummaging through the cupboard. Tsukasa felt a bit weary of the stranger, the near colourless eyes that watched his every move sending a light shiver down his spine.

               Is it this one?                        Or maybe this one?

He wasn’t quite sure what any of the long words printed across each bottle meant.

Finally recognizing that he’d be unable to figure it out on his own, Tsukasa spoke up and turned to meet the other’s steady gaze once again.

"Uhm… Which one did you want?"

✂ Ah, yeah, that one'll have to do. 

He offered his hand out for the medication, turning it all around to read the information. He wasn't sure if this was a tranquilizer or a pain reliever, but either'd do. Popping open the cap, he nudged out two tablets, flung them into the back of his mouth, and swallowed them just like that. He tapped the sides of his neck to help the pills go down, he sat back and sighed, the pain making him dizzy. 

He laid his head back and closed his eyes, breathing heavily to try to speed up the medication. He quickly sat up, forgetting that kid was there.

✂ Thanks, but, don't you think it's a little late for you to be up? Nonetheless, in a hospital.

She blinked, completely confused, “……Umm…i-I do not understand?….What do you mean by asking for it?..”

As she spoke, he noticed the two protruding fangs in her mouth, making him raise an eyebrow.

✂ Little canines? What're those for?

He stretched out his hand and let his finger meet the bottom of one of the sharp teeth, making a tiny prick. A small bubble of blood slip from the puncture, and he winced a little.

      ✝   A gust of cold air traveled quickly through darkened hallways with strength that nearly forced Tsukasa to take a step back. Strange, as it was often a sign of something unusual just around the corner, though it had been a long while since he’d experienced such a feeling. Shivering from the chilling temperature, he continued forward in the direction that his feet carried him.

    A voice echoed through the corridor, catching Tsukasa off guard as it pierced through the eerie but familiar silence that filled the hospital once sunset passed. One of the patients must have woken up. With an expression of curiosity, he gradually wandered toward the sound, the soles of his shoes clacking against the tile floor with every step.

    He finally reached the room, poking his head through the doorway to stare at the stranger through a set of caramel-stained optics.

    “What’s wrong?” There was nothing concerning about allowing himself to interact with normal beings once in a while. The existence he ‘lived’ was a lonely one, after all.

The light pitter patter of feet echoed in the hallway, someone had heard him. Hopefully a nurse'd give him more medication, do to his attempt at getting up earlier, the wound had seemed to open and bleed again.

His eyebrows cringed at the young voice, rolling his eyes to the side. He scanned the room and observed the easy to access medication behind some glass; at least the kid could be useful now.

His gaze went back to the blond boy, and he gestured him to the cabinets.

✂ Find me some pain medication in those cabinets over there, would you kindly?

  "……w-What do you mean too young?..i-I’m 14 years old…" She pouted a little, glaring at the person.

He leaned in with a grin and took a deep breath.

  She tilted her head, “……i-I am?…Well..h-How old do you think I am?…”

His train of thought veers off, his gaze along with it as he stares off into the distance, pondering.
