This is a peice I made ages ago. Why I’m posting it now I’ll never know. It’s about Loss, and denial.
“Hey, can I ask you something?”
“Sure, we have time.”
“What if reality could take a break.”
“Well I doubt it’d do that.”
“But what if it did.”
“Well, than it would I guess.”
“But if all pain, hurt and suffering…just took a day to catch up.”
“Why though, you’d just get greedy and ask for another day.”
“No I wouldn’t, I’d just want…that last day. that single day I swear.”
“Well tell me what you’d do.”
“I’d spend it all with you.”
“That’s lame.”
“No it’s not, it’d be with you!”
“Hah, you’re too kind.”
“…I miss you, you know.”
“Yeah…so stop having conversations in your head. You have better things to do than talk to ghosts.”
“…I know.”
“You have big things to do, so get out there and do them already.”
“…just one day.”
“…”
“Just…one day.”
