If you claim to follow Thor, and are racist, sexist, homophobic, trans*phobic, ableist, or otherwise a shitty human being to other fucking human beings - it’s time for you to take a step back. Whatever you’re following, it’s not Thor.

Now, I’m not trying to say that Thor is all about peace and goodness and being nice to people, but you know what? He’s not hateful. Vengeful, violent, terrifying, yes. But not hateful. He’s the defender of Midgard - And that means defending every last person on this planet: gay, straight, disabled, any and every fucking skin color there is. Thor is the common peoples’ god.

He was called to protect their livelihoods, their fields, their marriages, their children. And I believe he continues to look after and protect those who cannot protect themselves; including those who are unjustly discriminated against. It’s one thing to worship Odin and dream of going to Valhalla - but to worship Thor and completely forsake Midgard? To see all of the problems with the world and contribute to them mindlessly rather than trying to make a change for the better? Maybe that’s a better thing to focus on than hate - that’s all I’m saying.
