I’m trying to find more people to follow and rp with because my dash is pretty dead. I’d like to bring this character back, but I’m having trouble finding blogs to follow.

There are a few things I think people need to be reminded of:

Roleplay is a hobby, not a job. If a person doesn’t feel like replying right this second, don’t force them to or guilt trip them.

Sometimes someone loses a muse for a specific thread, and that’s perfectly okay. Just because they’re interacting with other’s as a different muse does not mean they’ve abandoned you or hate you. They just need time to get their other muse back or just need time to reply to your thread. Quit taking it personally.

You control YOUR character. Don’t tell someone how they should be roleplaying or how their character should be. Just like how you created your character, they created theirs. If you don’t like who their character is, don’t roleplay with them. Simple as that. You don’t get to mold someone else’s character into what you want them to be. Either accept them for who they are or move along to someone else.

Overall, just let people take time for themselves when they need it. Quit with the guilt tripping and whining. Quit with the controlling. Roleplay is supposed to be for fun, and when you overstep the boundaries, it ruins the fun and causes people to want to quit.
