You used to post your drawings online. I remember them looking a lot like the life you used to live. But something shifted …. none of the new ones resemble you. Their oversaturated colors and warped perspectives just don’t make sense. And this led me to believe that i don’t really know if it’s even you.

got this bad boy almost mint. no controller tho. it’s a Venus M4 by Coemar, the same one that Frank Ocean has (can be seen in prep+ vids)

these go for $1000+ if they are ever for sale. extremely fucking rare as these are almost “extinct” by now. one of the most sought after devices on the vintage stage design market and by far the coolest effect to ever exist. the version of Venus i own projects a coloured 360 degree continuous beam. the unit weighs 50kg and is 1m tall. requires a 1200w lamp. released in 1986

my initial plan was to modify it to accept DMX input for me to be able to remotely control it via software without the need for the original Mentor controller which i unfortunately don’t have. now i’m thinking about adding some other mods like a full repaint, custom engravings and a strobe fearure
