There was disbelief upon reading his schedule; Ebalon? A professor teaching Enchantments? Surely it must have been a coincidence—there must have been some other individual bearing the same name who just so happened to be pulled into this magical school as well. Yet Ebalon was not the only name he recognized as one of his professors: Solace’s name, too, was written on his schedule. It couldn’t have been a mere coincidence.
Denif pushed the door open into the Enchantments classroom, heart skipping a beat the moment his gaze fell upon the professor.
“Ebalon!”
A sudden surge of emotions led Denif to rush over to the fellow El Master, giving him a quick hug. Denif’s head filled with so many questions that demanded answers, but he was too joyed to see that the other—who had disappeared from his side without a trace one day—was alive and well to even form words.
After recollecting his composition, he exhaled a heavy sigh of relief. “I am so glad to see you’re safe. I’ve been worried sick about you—things are taking a turn for the worse in Elrios, and we need to get back... How do we get out of this educational prison?”
