If anyone’s interested I wrote a biography for my muse(s). I think I’ll use a face claim & post the novella here to get better depth.

There’s stale cigarette clogging the air, the smothered creak of old leather on older bar stools. The clink of glasses and rattle of bottles, the occasional skoosh of soda stream for people needing something softer fills the air and underneath the hub bub of talking and laughing is the drone of the old television displaying some form of news or sports or something. It’s a quiet bar, all things considered and while people aren’t supposed to smoke here, aren’t supposed to do a lot of things, the owner lets it slide.
Bucky likes it here, he thinks, because it’s the perfect place to hide. Under the smog, under the noise and the smells that remind him of an old bar long ago where soldiers would cram wall to wall and the laughter would be clearer, music instead of TV. An old time, far too long ago. For someone like Bucky, there’s few places he can go. Few places that wouldn’t have someone that would recognise his face from when the world was against him. It’s why he’s wearing long sleeves and gloves indoors, despite the sticky heat caused by too many people and too much cloud.
It’s why his glass squeaks a little against the leather hiding the limb beneath as he tilts his head back and drains the copper liquid in one smooth gulp. The buzz he gets is enough to take the edge off, for him to just be... Bucky for a while. It’s on the downward tilt, when Bucky raises his hand to get the bartenders attention for another that he catches a pair of eyes crystal clear across the bar. Skills have him able to pick up on the slightest of hints, the slightest facial expressions and read them like a book. So it’s expected and yet surprising to catch someone staring at him not with recognition on their face but something else. Flirtation, perhaps?
The clink of bottle against glass draws Bucky back to his drink, now refilled with a grunt from the bartender and he tries to ignore the eyes. Would it be so bad? That little voice in his mind teasing about how long it’s been since he let someone touch him? He’s no stranger too hook ups, usually quick things in small cupboards or alleys where he doesn’t need to take off his jacket to expose the arm, where he doesn’t need to feel too attached to what’s happening. It’s been a while though, long enough that his gaze flicks up again and catches those eyes again over the rim of his glass.
Maybe?
