Sooooo let me get this right. If you think a kid will become a genocidal monster in 15 years, it’s totally okay to kill them. If you went back in time with the knowledge that “this kid right here will definitely grow up to be a genocidal dictator”, yeah, people would want to kill him. But ask any sane person at the time “hey there’s a random 11 year-old boy over there, I think he might be a monster when he grows up. Kill him now!” I’d like to bet they would look at you like you’re crazy. I don’t care how “woke” you think you are, or how “enlightened to the truth” you think you are, you can’t see into the future.

Barron Trump is his own person. I hate this mentality that “he’s related to someone I think is a monster, therefore he’s guilty of their wrongdoings and will definitely grow up to be the same or worse!” In fact, it’s this which can turn him into the monster you say he’s already predisposed to become. Are Obama’s kids now destined to kill thousands overseas in drone strikes or deport thousands of people because their father did? No? But somehow these people are able to see that they are their own people, they aren’t their parents, but somehow Barron is not.

On Being Offended By Art

If the artist is trying to offend you: Ignore it. Art lives or dies by the amount of attention it gets. If you ignore it, you’re essentially denying the artist what they want. This is a far better option than actually attacking the artist. If the artist isn’t trying to offend you: Well, then it’s all on you. Artists aren’t obligated to cater to your tastes or beliefs. Therefore, if an artist creates a human version of a character, but they are too thin, or aren’t the race you would prefer, or whatever. Just say it isn’t your cup of tea and move on. Heck, you can even tell the artist that you don’t like it and why so long as you’re polite and civil about it. The important thing here is not to attack an artist, particularly one that’s just starting out and needs encouragement. Besides, the world is already full of anger and hate. Does anybody here really want to add to that, over a doodle some teen or young adult threw together in their spare time?
