the fact that he had gotten better at reading lips over the years was NOT helping him at the moment. couldn't the spark plug take a damn HINT ? bakugou simply offered a scowl in the others direction & promptly turned his body away. hearing aids turned down low. out of sight, out of mind.
"C'mon man! I know you're ignoring me." He moves so that Bakugo can see him "I was gonna kick your ass in Mario Kart but I guess you're too scared."
he’s listening, he’s listening . . . okay, he’s over it. his hands raise to his ears & turn down the volume on his hearing aids — almost as low as they can go. he’s done listening.
“Kacchannnnn hey Kacchan!! KATS!!” He waves his hand in front of Bakugous face.

Hanta blushes and chuckles “that’s definitely not a bad idea.” He says and tightens his arms around Denki slightly.
He sits up again, staring at Hantas lips. “Hey, what does this mean, for us. Like, you do wanna be a thing? Or, would you not want that?”
“I would really like to be a thing with you if that’s something you want. If not that’s okay too.” Hanta says as he looks at Denki, looking from his lips back to his eyes before leaning forward and lightly kissing his cheek.
“Yea, I do want that. I really do. Also you, uh. You missed.” His voice drops to a whisper and he looks at Hantas lips again, leaning in to kiss him.
Hanta smiles “awesome.” He says before blushing “my bad.” He jokes before leaning in and kissing Denki
He looks over at the table chuckling "We should uh, probably finish that puzzle, huh. Got the poor thing out and now its just sitting there not put together."

“Hmm maybe this one? With the moths on it? You want your kiss before or after the puzzle?” He pulls the puzzle off of the shelf setting it on a table.
“Works for me.” Hanta nods and sets his plate to the side before blushing and rubbing the back of his neck “up to you Denks.” He says as he moves to the table.
He sits down in front of the table. “I mean, I wouldn’t mind kissing you now. If you wanted.” He blushes as he opens up the puzzle box.
“I mean I definitely wouldn’t object.” Hanta blushes more and settles next to Denki, setting up the lid of the puzzle in-front of them so they could use it as reference.
He starts looking through the pile of pieces finding all the edge pieces. He looks over to Hanta, blushing more before leaning in a little bit.
Hanta starts going through the pieces to sort the non edge pieces by colour. He looks over when he feels Denki looking at him and also leans in.
He leans further in, brushing his lips against Hantas, a hand moving up to the back of the others neck.
Hanta melts into the kiss almost immediately, his hand automatically holding onto Denki’s shirt.
He moves his other arm, looping them around Hantas neck, pulling back slightly. “How would you feel if I told you I’ve wanted that for a while now.”
“I’d feel pretty relieved since I’ve wanted that for awhile too.” Hanta blushes darkly, still holding onto Denki’s shirt
“R- really?” His eyes widen as he backs up a little more to see Hanta’s face.
Hanta looks down and nods shyly, he was blushing so much even the tips of his ears were red “y-yeah, sorry if that makes things weird or something.”
“No no no no no. It doesn’t I promise. Can, uh, can we do it again?” He leans back in a little, waiting for a response.
Hanta looks up in surprise but nods and leans in as well, still too shy to make the first contact as he tightens his grip on Denki’s shirt
He closes the distance, threading his fingers into Hantas hair as they kiss.
Hanta kisses back and basically melts against him both from the kiss and the fingers in his hair.
“Do you wanna, keep doing the puzzle or, should we just do it later?”
“Up to you, you’re the one who was having a rough day so you get to choose.” Hanta says as he looks at Denki, still blushing.
“We’ll do it later,” he lays his head on the other’s shoulder playing with his hair.
Hanta wraps his arms around Denki and closes his eyes, humming from him playing with his hair.
He sits up , softly kissing Hantas forehead before laying his head back down, his lips brushing against the others neck.
