As a period drama enthusiastic, I was so happy to discover this show. It’s short, sweet, funny and incredibly sensible, just like this ship.
at first I was a bit worried that they relationships turned into this 2000’s romcom dynamic where the boy helps the girl to realize she was beautiful and worthy all along, but luckily it’s not like that at all!
They both find their way to each other after fixing themselves and the development of their relationship is so beautifully done 🤧
I put them on number 4 but the yearning of them is easily top 1
3. Richonne (The Walking Dead)
guys this is the ship that raised me, u don’t understand. since their first appearance on season 3 I was rooting for them 😭 the chemistry between Danai and Andrew was off the charts
It took 3 seasons (and one relationship) for them to finally kiss (not that I complain, I eat that slow burn up!!!!) they gave us enemies (-ish) to friends to lovers, forced proximity, slow burn realness
they met at their lowest point, understood each other, tied their bond over the love for Carl and finally felt for each other.
also, I was so pleased that this ship enraged the racist twd fandom! Andrew Lincoln made sure Richonne happened and I’ll be forever grateful 🥹

I thought season 1 couldn’t get beaten… omg how wrong I was.
I love fleabag so much, and I think that as a woman you can relate to her at so many levels. One of the things that touch me really close was the oversexualisation of herself in order to find male validation (as a lesbian that experienced comphet this was like a slap across the face)
In season 2 we (sadly) didn’t get a big lesbian come out but we got the hot priest.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a fucking genius, she handled this perfectly. The change on Fleabag character and how she approaches the hot priest, it’s the first healthy interaction with a man, and how he gets her in a way nobody does!! (When he breaks the 4rth wall like she does, symbolizing he sees through her)… face-crack of the century, chef kisses, spectacular give me fourteen of that
As much as I cried like a baby when “It’ll pass” I think that was the perfect way to end their relationship. He wouldn’t leave his devotion to God for her as much as he loved her and she managed to be content with herself, something that she struggled all along, finally being in a good place after she makes a decision for herself
