Thinking of Enjin telling Rudo "that's a good name" after they met and Rudo introduced himself the first time.
Laughing at the irony, knowing it was Alto's pick, the same Alto Enjin owes his name to.
Crying at the thought that Enjin is the first kid Alto named and the one who taught him the importance of short, meaningful names.
It came full circle.
Yeah so that aged well.

For Nesta’s birthday, missiemei, ktreadsthings, and I imagined Nesta, Emerie, and Gwyn hopping over to Lunathion, grabbing a mocktail, and turning up the volume with some Valkyrie Karaoke.
We picked a classic Icona Pop tune for them to belt out, but what would you have the Valkyries singing at the top of their lungs?!

Does that panel confirms that the watch's power is to speed time for Enjin? We can see his hair on the right, he's still standing, yet there's a shadow in the car glass of him rushing forward.

Realised two things:
1- Since we know now that Enjin saw Rudo as a baby, I guess when he said "Wait, It can't be..." in the first volume, when he was holding the binoculars and watching Rudo fight for his life the first time, he meant "Wait, could it be Alto's son? The kid I saw?".
2- Enjin was probably in the no man's land that day because he was waiting for Alto to reappear and has been for years. Or he got one of his famous hunch that Alto (or in this case, his blood) would appear.
Alto holding baby Rudo both healed and destroyed my soul...
Figured it was going to be a watch. Now I bet the enormous consequences are him losing years in his lifespan.

I'd actually like that, lol. And then we see them in their second year, Nirei got even stronger and they never really healed from Suo leaving...

So I don't know if anyone has made a similar post but as of right now, I have a major theory concerning Gachiakuta and the Watchmen series. Breaking it down, it would look like:
1- Macaca Icol was the 1st Spellcaster and they were friends with the original undertaker, Canis Surebrec, the one who seemingly invented the watchman symbol. We can guess it was centuries ago and I'm thinking they were among the first people to be alive when the sphere started levitating/broke away/appaeared. Maybe even the whole concept of Jinki and power appeared only post-Sphere and that's why we don't have any previous spellcaster. But anyway.
2- Now Canis' name, and the name of Rudo (Rudolph), both are related to wolf/dog and their family name is literally "Cerberus" if you switch the letters.
3- What does Cerberus do in Greek Mythology? Guard the Realm of Death. We could make a link between The Realm of Death/The Upside World and the Sphere/Aboveground.
4- We know it takes tremendous power to create series of jinkis, power Canis Surebrec clearly had. Now what if, when the Sphere first apparead, Canis used his power to create not only the Watchman series but the Watchman himself, the huge creature in the sky, acting as a Cerberus to anyone daring to cross the frontier.
5- The goal would be to keep both sides seperated (avoid a war? An exchange of information? Who knows) and the only way to go through the Watchman would be to either bear a part of the series named after him or to be of Surebrec blood, like his original creator.
6- If this theory was correct, it could explain why Rudo could get down without dying but Noerde was deemed unworthy.
7- It would also make us wonder about Tamsy, who we know crossed the frontier before he stole Regto's book up there, and if he might be of Surebrec blood. After all, he has similar hair color, his family name Caines looks a lot like Canis (with a little Biblical twist to it) and he seems to be aware of something concerning Rudo that none of the others know.
So what do we think?

I don't miss ACOTAR or the SJM fandom at all but I do miss the Valkyries and their fans. To this day, Nesta, Gwyn and Emerie are the best addition to this series and the only characters that would ever make me pick up these books again.

i cross referenced the year bcuz i had a weird feeling and uh, the hurricane that destroyed the rollercoaster hit in 1938.
the same year the gauntlet was built, according to that lethe days diary entry dawes and alex found
