At what point do we become just like everyone else?
Are we all the same from start to finish? Or are we special at some point?
Are these questions proof that weāre told we are special when we arenāt? Is being āspecialā even important?

āI get to be the Flash on TV, surrounded by all these other superheroes and itās something I never want to take for grantedā, Grant Gustin for Entertainment Weekly
Ever wonder how long youād have to be gone before people notice?
I want to be invested in people. I really care if no one in the group message responds to my comment about needing a hug after a bad day. I know everyone has their own lives. It just sucks to realize that youāre an afterthought. And damn, I donāt want to be in a relationship, but Iād like to have someone invest in me... without my personality, anxiety, and sadness wearing them out. Itās even worse because I realize how dramatic everything Iām saying sounds. It is dramatic. But, you know, Iām bothered by it. So Iām posting my thoughts on this public forum so you can read and agree, reach out, or make fun- and thatās okay, no matter what. Iām an adult. The one thing I know is that this feeling will pass... and that is what I hold close.
Iām learning more about myself every day. Iāve always thought I functioned better in a team- but Iām starting to enjoy flying alone. I wonder how much time Iāve spent telling myself how Iām going to feel/react in certain situations... Whereas now, I can see more sides of myself and I can let my brain know that I donāt ~have~ to feel the way I predicted I would, because it perpetuates the problem instead of dealing with it. Anyways, Iām just saying that Iām still growing. And Iām my own damn Valentine (and proud of it)!
