I’ll start this day remembering what could have been a happy day for everyone but I ruined it because I couldn’t contain my emotions. I wanted everything to be right, to be perfect... but I forgot how things are best when we least expect them to happen. We all have bad days, but to spoil the good ones because of things we can never prepare ourselves with, is just pathetic. Sometimes following the currents helps ease the burden, when you let yourself go against it, you tend to exhaust and hurt yourself. You drown... drown into the abyss of the unknown... Appreciate every good thing that is happening in your life, no matter what size, it affects your it. It’s impact can be undermined by your pessimism. I wanna start it by appreciating these people. For putting up with me despite being difficult. I have issues no one can ever solve but they are there. They try hard to be there and I am elated to have them by my side. We face a lot of struggles but it will always be nice having someone to share it with. We can feel lonely in life but we are never alone. Things will be very difficult but I’d like to believe I have it on the bag. I’d like to believe I can face all the bad days because of the persons who will be there for me. I’d like to think that these smiles will remain until we reach the end. Thank you for the fun day. To the strangers turned family, my sons and daughter "by choice" - to my COVID Babies. Thank you for remembering me amidst our struggles. I can't thank you enough for keeping in touch despite having busy schedules. Your efforts are very much appreciated. I made this entry to express my utmost gratitude not only for the gifts you have given me for my day but also to congratulate you on your success. To witness your undergraduate struggles, I am both elated and proud to know you made it. I know to sum it all up and say it was challenging is an understatement of how things have been. Your last 3 years of college were filled with surprises, some even challenged your limits, which made some of you almost gave up. But you showed everyone you were resilient (hanggang di nagoverstay, UNLI retake. Walang sumuko! Habang may chance, laban lang). Now that you have reached another milestone, it feels infuriating to not have the chance to celebrate it by wearing your biggest smiles while in your academic gowns.
