This Is What It Actually Means To Get A ‘Good Night’s Sleep’
Here’s a great qoute from this article.
A good night’s sleep is about way more than just clocking seven to nine hours in bed each night
.
If your house is anything like mine 7 to 9 hours of sleep is not the norm. But, this is a good article to read so that you have an idea of what is important when it comes to sleep.
There already is considerable evidence that physical activity is linked to psychological health. Epidemiological studies have found, for example, that people who exercise or otherwise are active typically are less prone to depression and anxiety than sedentary people.
Review: Heartburn Drugs in Pregnancy Tied to Asthma in Babies
I thought this was a good article to review. I don’t remember any student in my class when I was growing up that had asthma. However, since I have been coaching over the past 26 years I have noticed more and more students with asthma.
Why? Is it due to position, which is what you always hear and read. Is it over use of antibiotics, which is the reason given for so many more Staph outbreaks.
Excellent article. Every parent should read this. As parents we may not always hit on every trait with every situation with our children but this is a good guid for parents to guid them through the process of raising a child.
Trick plays are used to score quick are provide and explosive play for the offense or special teams. Most are pretty much standard, reverse, reverse pass, toss pass, etc. etc. However there are times that teams are very creative and push the line of being legal. It makes football fun and is something that keeps practice fun for players. Everybody loves to trick their opponent. The following is…
This is a great article I wish everyone that has a political opinion on education would read it. I’ve made this comment before “the biggest problem with public education in the US is the involvement of government OFFICALS!” I should also add “and their manipulation of data to suit their view point”
Here are a few questions and comments from this article
I’m shocked at Tom Brady’s critics. Tom Brady delivers leadership in a playoff type game verses the Ravens and the headlines read…”Tom Brady loses his mind, shows up Julian Edelman after bad route”.
Let me put this out there first I’m a huge fan of Tom Brady for several reasons. Number 1 he was underestimated in college and had to fight to get his chance. Then he’s drafted 198th. New England…
I enjoy reading about diets and nutrition eventhough I don’t do such a great job of eliminating or cutting back the things that will and do cause the most harm to your body.
Dr. Frank Sacks, a professor of nutrition at Harvard, likes to challenge his audience when he gives lectures on obesity.
“If you want to make a great discovery,” he tells them, figure out this: Why do some people lose 50…

UBook Review, Turn the Ship Around!: A True Story….
I am skeptical about books on leadership. Most are written by persons who have reached positions of authority in organizations and then anointed themselves “leaders.” They don’t talk about the political infighting and maneuvering that got them the job. Instead they glowingly talk about their skill in developing people – skills that frequently exist only in their imagination and the book they have…
When Having Insurance Still Leaves You Dangerously Uncovered?
The author of this article covers the basics of health insurance and a few positives the Act has for most people. I have a big problem with the name “Affordable”. People getting “health insurance” with $20,000 deducatables is not affordable. The two parties continue to play a shell game with us by relating health insurance to health…

As A Media Pioneer, I Can Tell You Why Mainstream Media Is On The Brink Of Collapse – Review
This article by Armstrong Willams makes me think how great it would be to have a major news network and or newspaper like the NY Times, decided they would have a section in their paper or a news report that delivered nothing but the facts without opinions or shaping the facts with inflammatory words and headlines. A place where as a concerned citizen you could go to get the bonafied truth and…
Is It Time to Restructure the Education Department
I’ll assure you MORE government oversight is NOT what public education needs to improve.
The author of this article suggest adding nation wide region service centers for accountability. Region service centers exist in most states & I’m not sure 1 more government agency collecting the same data as the schools, districts, regions, states & DOE would benefit education.
My middle son spent several months in Denmark studying abroad with the Texas A&M Business School. He loved Denmark. This would be a great opportunity for a football player that wants to walk on or has and hasn’t made a college football team.
