Next batch of breed re-imagining is here, this time with aethers and fae. It may be just me, but I’ve always associated Arcane with bugs, cephalopods, and rodents, and since a cephalopod take would alter them too much I went with rodent bug buddies.

Bonus of head cannon sizing compared to the previous gaolers and tundras.

We need flocks of birds as apparel items. Yes, I know we got the parrots and chickens and those budgies but I want entire flocks of birds just flying all around the dragon png. Like anywhere from 3-8 in total depending on the size of them.

I wants flocks of magpies with half of them perched along the wing or tail while the rest fly in chaotic abandoned.

Swans just sitting ominously around the dragon. Have they trapped it there? Are they gorgeous but deadly bodyguards? Who can tell. Roadrunners just racing in a single file line around the feet!

Your own colony of penguins. Sure it might be like four or five but at least three will have chicks so it can count as more.

And a single ostrich. No explanation given, just a giant flightless bird. Faes can look like they are sitting on them. The png for them just goes off the screen.

on new year's eve this year, as soon as server time hits midnight (or when the user finally returns to the tab if they're not active at the time) every window with flight rising on it-whether the user is on it or not-goes entirely black...

except, for a small line of text on the bottom of the screen.

"hello again..." it reads, a blinking line below it stating "[click anywhere to continue]"

"[insert player's username here], wasn't it? my, how much has changed in so many years..."

"what, you don't remember me? *tsk* ah, sad, you never had a very good memory, however..."

upon the next click, a figure fades in at the center of the screen; the first dragon that person ever exalted, then more figures start to fade in behind them; all dragons ever exalted by that user after the front dragon.

"how about now?"

the screen returns to normal, and the devs never mention the incident, seemingly unaware it ever happened...

Dragons can fail to produce eggs. When this happens you get a pop up similar to this:

Scroll of Youth. It reverts your dragon to a hatching, but the dragon grows up again after a few days.

It costs twice as much as a Scroll of Eternal Youth.

The staff add a dragon “chat” feature which is just a gossip page between your dragons. Your mirror and your emperor are in a love triangle. You cannot make any comments on this and can only watch the drama. This feature effects absolutely nothing outside of the chat.
