As of May 20, 2014. Ā Made shortly after the ruling in Pennsylvania.
Last week I wrote this piece for Comic Book Resources about the new Teen Titans #1 cover. The point of the piece was hey, thereās a broad demographic DC *could* be hitting with this book but the cover is certainly not made for that potential demographic. Instead, itās more of the same-old,ā¦
As somebody who actually has those size breasts and had them without silicone at that age I find some of the things you said INCREDIBLY insulting. While I appreciate a push for equality and better portrayals of women, I find it rude when you said the following ā Iād love to see what kind of biology equals the breasts Wonder Girl is sporting as a 17-18 year old (pretty sure that ābiologyā includes silicone when they look like that).ā Honestly A. Fuck you. I spent my entire life having everyone focus on my breasts that followed into college and even came from my friends. I have stretch marks because they grew so fast. No Iām not going to wear a strapless top for activity. I wonāt even wear a strapless top regularly because my breasts are too large. Finding bras is a chore I donāt want to get into. I donāt get to wear cute, frilly bras. I get to wear blah bras at best with wide straps and at least a triple hook.
B. Who the hell are you to say that breast implants are the only way to achieve larger breasts? Do you have any idea how many women and girls have to deal with overly large breasts that they gained naturally? The answer is quite a few. I would LOVE to have a breast reduction, but I cannot afford one and because I have a history of back and neck problems, nobody will bother saying my breasts are making my problems continue since going to the chiropractor once a week helps.
For somebody pushing for women, you sure as hell do insult those who not only have natural sized breasts, but for those who elected to increase their breast size. Your entire critique means shit when thatās your opening line to a retort. I get that they are missing out on a target market, but you made sure to make women who do have large breasts feel ashamed and like shit along the way.
So until you understand biology and not ābiologyā I suggest not talking anything about what is natural and what is not.
You seem to have misread the post. It's not the size that indicated silicon, it was the shape. Wonder Girl is not sporting a commonly natural shape. The original article also helpfully links a very, very good artistic reference for how natural breasts react to things like gravity and clothes.
Hey Abnormals!
Iāve gotten several emails asking about how the comic is made, and seeing that today is the day our book is complete Iād share a bit of the artistic process involved in creating a page like last Mondayās.
Keep in mind, however, that what is shown here is just a small part of...
ARTBARF! - Daily sketch Today my intern said we should draw āold menā as our daily sketch. So I went with an old sorta viking-but-not-really-ish warrior. While listening to stuff like Clanadonia. And yeah, heās basically using a stone slab as a helmet. Made in Photoshop CS6
Yup. Buff deer.

Weāre starting off the week trying a little something different (technique-wise).

Moths
Anxiety makes me feel like Iām full of moths. When you get excited for something, you get happy little butterflies, but the internal fluttering of anxiety is frantic and terrible. Itās in your stomach, making you sick. Itās in your throat, making it hard to breathe. Itās in your head, making it impossible to focus.
Itās exhausting.
