Hi Mike,
I wanted to say congratulations. I'm really happy for you and Rachel. And I'm so happy things finally worked itself out.
But this is me telling you right now, because we're friends and I care a lot about Rachel. You can't ever... just... leave her like that. Mike- it was- I was scared. Rachel wasn't herself. She didn't smile. Rachel didn't smile the whole time. She was so broken. You could see the light in her eyes go out. I'd never been so mad in my life- I mean I have. It ranks up very high next to the guy who broke up with Brittany just cause we were roommates...
That's not the point.
The point is, that night of the season finale... she'd made so much progress. She'd taken steps to try and fix whatever it is that was left of her. And it crashed around her. She was so broken and everyone was just around her smothering her and belittling her feelings and it was the worst thing I'd ever seen. I held her, and she clung to me- but it wasn't me who she needed, Mike.
I know you know that.
I'm telling you all this so you can get an image of that in your head - because I don't want to have to see that again.
I sincerely send my condolences for your sister, and I understand on some level what you did, and why you had to do it. But not like that Mike. And I know I'm not threatening at all and if we were in a fight I'd probably cry at the sight of your abs, but this my official warning. Don't hurt, Rachel. Take care of her. Please.
This e-mail was a lot more ... I didn't mean to offend you or anything, I just... I know you won't hurt her, I just wanted to remind you.
And if you do- I don't even have a proper threat here cause I know you won't.
