         john tilts his head a bit, glancing at them quietly for a moment. 

        “ i wonder if being a god prevents the concussive properties of bathtubs. “ 

        a simple statement that was meant to hold humor as he grinned, eyes sparkling with mirth. feeling the force against his shoulder, john quickly reacts – giving them a shocked expression. 

        “ rude ! “ though, the smile couldn’t halt itself from returning to his face as he shrugs. 

        “ well, thank yoooooooou, anyway ! “ john is … ecstatic, filled with energy and excitement of a finished game. he folds his hands behind his head, drifting back to the original topic. 

        “ soooo, wanna explore that theme park ? pretty sure that there were bumper cars in your honor. “

   “ i don’t know but i’m not gonna be the one to find out! ” they perked back up to their usual self, quite pleased with the punch john had received. they weren’t exactly one to laugh at their friend’s misfortune, but he seemed to have good spirits about it.

   a gasp soon came from them as their eyes widened. “ no way!!! but why . . . bumper cars? ” they guessed they shouldn’t be so picky about which attraction was honored to them, but they couldn’t recall ever driving one, much less being around them in the first place. 

   “ eh, whatever, doesn’t matter! les’ go, egbert! ”

   and with that, they were off, having to get a boost to not be left in the dust by john’s inevitable speedy nature.

      He can’t help grinning as she plays along with the fish puns shtick - usually his random pestering didn’t get him anywhere, but it seemed he had luck on his side this time! There’s no particular reason he messaged the so-called “tentacleTherapist”, honestly - he was just bored, and annoying random people on the internet always did well to entertain him for a bit. He’s laughing a bit as he types, blue eyes glued to the screen.

     EB: ahaha, there we go!!       EB: those were reely some crayative puns!      EB: “m-eels-ly”? krilliant, if i do say so myshellf!      EB: and i do say so myshellf :B      EB: anemoneways, what did you mean by “interpret differently?”       EB: if it’s naut a reference to octopi oar squids, then…???      EB: what is it supposed to mean?

  purple eyes briefly glanced toward her grimoire as she slowly pulled her legs up to sit cross-legged on her chair. it was slightly uncomfortable, but she would worry about the repercussions of slumbered legs at a later date. she was debating whether or not to go into too much detail from her vast knowledge of the grimoire; perhaps if ‘ egotisticalButtercream ’ wished, then who was she to DENY such a request?

  TT: I only meant that you and I think differently when we look at the word ‘ tentacle. ’   TT: Whereas you think of sea creatures, my mind tends to wander towards the appendages belonging to the horrorterrors.   TT: I suppose they can be one in the same in some mythologies . . .   TT: Nevermind that, I hope my explanation suffices.
