idk man i think when a character explicitly tells us that she sees dating as a downgrade from the deeply significant partnership she already has with another character, that she doesn't find kissing or sex intrinsically appealing unless it's for her partner's pleasure, that she finds romance both boring and oppressive and compares the concept itself to a gravity well that assimilates the unsuspecting, that paying lip service to it for the benefit of people outside her relationship makes her feel as though she'd been stripped of her free will, that being forced into its orbit provokes the same helpless terror as being caught in the web of an eldritch entity that actively drives you mad with fear--we should believe her. i don't think we should see her say "when romance is the only context people have for mutually exclusive relationships that are valued above others, they will force everything you say and do into the context of romance regardless of your desires and intentions, and that scares and upsets me" and then do that to to her anyway

MIMOSA CONFESSIONS VOL 5 UHH MORE THAN HALFWAY SPOILERS

Ssoooo I made a post and deleted it. Because I was live reacting and made replies to it and stuff and there was crazy lore drops happening from Sera. so I was like hold on stuff is conflicting and I gotta concentrate.

But it was the scene where Sera pulled up in the sedan. And I highlighted it (I ordered the physical book but I'm impatient and reading it digitally rn) so I can write a note on it. I've been noting everything that shows he is into Sakuma. (Also I really was not expecting him to pull up in a sedan like that)

And NOW I got to a sentence that basically just confirmed it or revealed it to Sakuma.

And I've got to say, Sakuma is so stupid 😭😭😭 like there is some stuff that is so obvious. HIS GF DIRECTLY TOLD YOU (though not in a specifically romantic way)

and Natsuki knowing sakuma liked her. Like, nobody is shocked 🤐 literally everybody has told bro he's easy to read. he did point that out directly after tho. but he cannot be shocked anymore after this

I am a little over 20 pages into The Mimosa Confessions vol 4. I think Misao needs a therapist. She could talk to the person honestly, and they can give her realistic feedback and give her advice on changing her thinking and coping with things that she can't control. She also said she's depressed, and she lost her mom. Also, there's been a lot of manipulation coming from Misao already 🤦🏾‍♀️ like I think anyone in Ushio's place would be irritated with her And with the manipulation and her feeling like she can't do anything about Ushio being distant bc of her fallout with Sakuma + their mom's death, AND a lot of things have changed in her life, stemming from the big change of her mom, her "God"/the constant of her universe, being dead, it seems like Misao really wants a sense of control (and a role model aka the God analogy). Of course, anyone would want to feel like they can do something about things, not to feel helpless. An internal locus of control is better than an external one. But… man, someone really needs to talk to her.

I hope flame can live freely and have some silly fun on the server with lomedy. Cuz I think he's gonna be a deuteragonist now! I think things will be awesome for Flame now actually and I'm excited to see what will happen.. but I'm also not sure it will be so awesome bc of parrot as king. But it'll be fun to see if crazy stuff happens with that! I just do not think parrot being king is great 😂 (and I'm definitely not alone on this! I just know the conflict is gonna be entertaining.. wonder what will happen 🤭)
