Alex reached out and took both her hands and held them apart. “A lot.” He laughed. He finished his food and shrugged. “How do you know it didn’t? How do you know it didn’t take like a pile of shit? You didn’t eat it.” He laughed and nodded. “Some people aren’t meant for it I suppose. Even if they follow the fucking recipe it just doesn’t work for them.” He said and kissed her gently. “Obviously I do.” He said and let her place the order. “Sounds bloody delicious. People criticize Americans for frying things, but it’s actually fucking genius.”
Deschanel laughed, and looked at him like he was crazy. “Because just because we had the same plate.” She laughed. “I ate half which is enough for me to decide if I like it or not. And I did, however, I am not a dude. I can not intake the same amount of calories as you can. So I also left room for desert.” She smiled at him. “They aren’t, and Vivian isn’t one of them. Although, maybe she’s improved.” She shrugged. Deschanel smiled, and returned the kiss. She chuckled, “It’s alright, not bad. Fried ice cream is probably the only thing I like fried, wellll, no that is a lie.” She laughed.
