✨Lamen Week 2025 is officially over!

I want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who participated, whether by sharing your incredible work (special thanks to @acelynonix) or by liking, sharing, and commenting. I hope you all enjoyed the week and maybe made some new friends!

For me, it was a truly fun and much-needed week.

Unfortunately, life has been a bit challenging lately, which made organizing the event quite rushed and chaotic. However, if I manage to graduate in March, I plan to bring Lamen Week back in June, returning to its usual slot.

I'm eager to hear your thoughts! If you have any suggestions on how to improve Lamen Week for the next edition, please share them. I'm all ears!

I found an edit I made in 2020🥺✨ it was on my old Instagram (before the whole AI thing that led me to delete the account😓) so it has my old nickname.

This made me think <<It was a kingdom once>> and it became one big kingdom again🥺✨️

Day 8. "It was one Kingdom, once"

I survived my two days out with the scouts even though the kids didn't make me sleep at all... For this day I don't really have anything, I just wanted you to know this artist (Alessia Trunfio/ @alessiajontrunfio ), if you don't already know her.

I'm sorry if it took me so long today, but I'm currently out with my scout group, and the kids are being a handful... 🙈

Day 6. Libraries

This is probably the one I'm more proud of, the one I like more. There's room for improvement, but for my current level of expertise, this makes me pretty happy as it looks right now.

My modern AU draws made just after I read Captive Prince in 2020. So many good memories😭✨ (I was younger, it's been a lot of years, so it's a bit strange to see the before vs nowadays hahahah). This is an entry for Lamen Week 2025 made by @lamenweek and today the theme is "Modern AU"

Day 5. Modern setting

As you can probably see by the first image, I initially had no idea at all about a design for this day, but after a while I basically went "Come on, Rei! I know you can do better! Put some work into it!" So I searched for some inspiration here and there and managed to create the second one!

(Even managed to find some time to try and write something, but it is combined with another prompt, so I'll post it later)

Day 4. Festivities

This is where the designs I'm the least proud of are starting to show up. I took this week not only as practice with CANVA, but as a challenge for myself. I'm not great when it comes to visual arts (I'm somewhat ok with photography, but if you take 1000 pics a day everyday for 20 years, at least 1 or 2 will coincidentally happen to be good at some point). I'm way better at expressing myself through words, but if I don't challenge myself a few times throughout my life what kind of human being would I be?!

Day 3. WHUMP

As a big fan of both hurt/comfort and whump I'm always in search of quality fanart/fanfic/edit/ecc... Time and artistic capability are not on my side, but I don't let it stop me! I can only get better through practice (even if limited) 💪🏻

Day 2. Fake dating

Pretty proud of the design of this graphic, it isn't perfect, but it is one of my first attempts at this, so it is good to "celebrate" tiny "victories"

Life has been pretty chaotic lately, so these graphics I made for each day of the week will probably be my only entries. I’ve just started practicing with Canva, so I figured I’d give it a try. I’m proud of some of the designs, while others… well, I can’t stand them — but it’s all part of the learning process! As the Wolf Cubs in Scouts says: “Do your best!” And honestly, I don’t mind the one I made for the first day!
