3 Identical Envelopes: Tickle Edition.
Hello Tumblr, my it’s been some time since one of my nonsense posts came across your feeds! But I was inspired by the concept of stick or twist which led me to this little concept should you be looking to add something to a little session.
And I feel this can be prepared by a ler for a lee to pick but also for the lee for the ler. Let me explain the thought process.
As you can see. 3 envelopes all identical… 1, 2 and 3.. I imagine this would be a round based system. So 3 envelopes per round. In each envelope the game master places a paper with a spot, an amount of time.. a position, any tickle sessions criteria imaginable.
Now, your player whether the lee or the ler each round picks one of these envelopes. Let’s say round 1 envelopes contain a tickle spot. Now, whatever that is, is the focus of the next part of the session. However, before the tickling starts - you open the other two envelopes to see which spot they could have had. (Sounds like a wicked tease for a ler speaking as one).
That’s it in its basic function. It’s certainly customisable. You could add lifelines that the player gets one chance to pick a second envelope but they must take the new result… or maybe the game master has one override to make the person pick again. It just add a level of cheek and fun to what is already something incredibly fun.

A Mystery Christmas Surprise:

Now, I’ll give you this much, each set of Christmas emojis relates to a tickle spot, a position and a tickle tool.. But you won’t know which set of emojis links to which criteria. That itself is part of the surprise 😏

Then on Xmas morning (or at least Xmas morning GMT) the list will be shared and your gift is unwrapped before your very eyes. Hopefully it matches what you wanted.

Attaching a heart rate monitor to a lee where you can have an accurate depiction of what your to be victim is feeling.. no matter how hard they try to hide it on the outside.. they won’t be able to hide their true reactions.
You can watch the rate increase as they hear you enter the room…
You see it jump when the fingers wiggle above them as the anticipation grows…
You can see the eruption of pure joy as your experience together plays out before you both.
Let alone the ability to use the results as a tease. “Oh dear.. your heart rate is through the roof. I haven’t even started yet”

Catch the Vibe: Tickle Edition.
Who loves board games? Don’t you wish there were more tickle related prompts for either yourself or your buddies to answer for. Well, here’s your chance.
This, is catching the vibe. Place yourself on a grid dependent on two criteria and let those around you guess where they think you are. You can see the board below.
In the example, each axis has a criteria. At the bottom of the grid you can see the letters A-J so A would be smells good and J would be smells bad.
On the left hand side you have illegal or legal. 1 at the top left representing legal and 10 at the bottom representing illegal.
So if you felt strongly that your opinion was “smells good and should be illegal” you would put your token on or around A-10. Likewise a view that you felt strongly that they should be legal but you were indifferent about the smell criteria, you would look at selecting maybe E1 or F1 again depending on your view.
Now, here’s what comes next. I will post a follow up to this of the board and the edited prompt and criteria cards.. tickle related of course.
You can either, answer yourself where you would be on the grid or you can keep your answer secret, reblogging the blank board to your profile to have your friends and community guess before your big reveal. See who knows you better than you know yourself.
If this goes well, maybe we can create a few game boards for the community to have a go at. Some for lee, lers and switches alike.

Battleships (Tickle Edition):
The classic game is in line for a tickle twist and I think it adds a level of randomness to either irl tickles, written teases in messages or simply posted on to your blogs for anyone to give their guesses. In any way it is played - it comes with all the same anticipation build up as you wait for players to make their guesses.
It can also be in a 1 player or 2 player format, let me explain my thinking.
How to play:
Set up is simple: As the player, you deploy your battleships in the grid.. your placement is pivotal if you don’t want those most ticklish spots targeted (don’t want to make it too easy for those lers right). So we get the first level of randomness that you can place your ships anywhere in the grid.
Next, you assign a tickle spot to each ship. Again. You can either do this randomly or have the more ticklish spots on the small vessels to try and conceal them from ler missiles.
With the spots assigned and the respective ships placed - your fate is locked in and play moves to the ler to make their first guess. And you have to watch on and see if it’ll hit or miss.
If you are playing a 2 player variant, play passes between players after each guess. Even on a successful hit, play moves to the other player.
If you are playing the 1 player version in messages or through your blog find the way that works for you. If played in messages, maybe you want to limit the number of shots a ler has to 20 so there is a chance they don’t find a spot.. but define your own rules for best play for players to get the most enjoyment.
Of course I’m hoping for plenty of hits, and plenty of tickles that follow.
Oh, and lees. When you watch the ship get sunk.. you will have to announce what spot is up for tickles.
Either way, please do save the image to play if you like.. or reblog to add to your own blog to play along. But have fun with it.
It’s as easy as ABC:
We’ve all heard the phrase it’s as easy as ABC and the alphabet is something we all learn. Something we share.. so why can’t it be something that brings our community together.
Now I could sit here and writr something for each letter.. but that’s only my view, why don’t we create a tickling ABC. After all we all found our way to tumblr for our own reasons.
Pick any letter or couple of letters and make your suggestions for a tickle themed word so we can get a full A-Z that we can use. Maybe a letter is represented by a tickle spot, a tool, a position.. or anything related.. maybe a word has multiple definitions depending on your lee/ler/switch preferences. But let’s make it together people.
Not to be that person, but not everyone is in to the NSFW side, so if we can just keep it on the side for all that would be a preference. And thank you all. Now go, enjoy yourself and let your creativity fly. I’d be very interested to see things I didn’t think of.
And maybe, once the completed list is done - I may or may not have an idea for a future post using our end product 😜
A Tickler Mystery Party:
Think murder mystery party but with tickles should you wish to play along. Let me explain.
But it’s been an idea I’ve been thinking about and I’ve had a few ideas of the logistics for hosting such an occasion. But I present the following:
A lee’s birthday is fast approaching and a party is being thrown to celebrate. Of course plenty of people will be there, hosted in a grand setting with a black tie dress code; perhaps a masquerade, it’s going to be wonderful.
In the lead up to the special day, you receive a mysterious note regarding your birthday.. as an extra surprise should you wish to seek out this individual. One guest is designated your tickler. You could ignore this information completely and enjoy your evening. But, should you wish to play along and receive exactly what you should expect from a tickler.. well.. read on.
The letter dictates that as you socialise amongst the crowds as it is your birthday after all. You have a code to identify the tickler at large. A particular question to ask with a very specific response. It may seem odd to a normal party guest, but your tickler will identify that question and give you your code word response. Once you find that individual, well. It’s up to you how you use that information and take advantage of a tickler in your midst.
And how would it feel that any person you talk to could indeed be the ler.. walking into that room, someone wants to hear that precious precious laughter.
So, would you play along to find this would be tickler… let the games begin.
It’s felt like some time since I’ve opened the doors on the tumblr app… I do want to apologies for disappearing suddenly. It was not down to anything anyone had done, it was purely the start to 2025 being more overwhelming than anticipated.
But, as a bit of a welcome back post. I can back to the news that my little corner of tumblr celebrated its 6th anniversary! 6 Years descriptive tickles has been active and I owe so many thank yous to keep that as fun as it has been. I look back with pride at the stories, the teasy scenarios and pick your own tickle adventures from years gone by. But they’ve be nothing without the community to share them with.
And who knows. Maybe there are still a few teases in this old tumblr blog yet! Keep an eye open is all I’ll say for now.

I can’t remember what the post even was but I remember screaming when @eldelascosquillas-blog liked something of mine.
and the day @descriptive-tickles followed me back AND dmed me. Felt like I was talking to a celebrity
Where do I possibly begin.. I’ve been so fortunate in my time to meet so many amazing people. Some still present and some sadly leaving the site to move on with their lives. And I could leave a huge list but I will restrict myself but I want to thank everyone who has been a part of my time here.
This is also in no particular order. Huge shoutouts to @twordishcj and @idreamofticklehugs - I don’t know where I would be without you two! And a huge thank you to both of you. Putting up with my rambles and nonsense but your support and friendship is so special.
One final shout out has to go to my longest standing friend in the community.
We go way back across multiple platforms and she still hasn’t got rid of me yet 🤣 here’s to you @t-wordiiish - without you I would never of had the confidence to be myself and really understand what I enjoyed about this community and my place within it! Got to be at least 6 or 7 years now if tracked back to the beginning maybe even more. But I remember them as if they were yesterday and they are truly happy memories of my time in the community.
A belated happy new year to those I haven’t reached out too.. I have been off since around the new year and just reaching out to say all is well! It’s all good news but it’s a slight hiatus with just general busyness after the Christmas period.
Im sorry for not reaching out sooner but im hoping to start getting back to messages soon!
