When taking a picture, I'm training myself to think first and foremost - not to say only - about myself. I truly think that's the way you should think anytime you are creating something. Think about what you want to do, to see and to feel (90%) and then about why you want to do it (10%). Creation must be visceral, selfish for anyone who wants to talk about what makes us human and what defines our time. Clients (and I include here brands, influencers, anyone paying you or sadly not paying you for your work) will ask you something: do not obey. No motivational poster will tell you that: when creating, be selfish and do not give a fuck.
