Back in March I had the opportunity to venture around West Texas with a buddy of mine. We stopped in Terlingua, TX for a couple of days. Our backyard had a majestic view of the stars over some rolling hills.

This star trail photo is a single exposure of 3616 seconds. I much prefer single exposure star trails over image stacking. Quite honestly, it's easier and the end shot is much smoother.
