laughter escaped his lips as he watched the guy freak out in front of him. he had gotten so good at being sneaky that he was proud of himself. “good song by the way, pretty odd was my favorite album by them.” he then gave a shrug. “for a few minutes, your rapping made me come over.”

But when the song was over, Sol would be left feeling more empty than before. And so, she avoided such stuff as much as she could.

                ❝ nah. i never really got into eminem as a solo artist. i preferred D12. but even then, i was more of a tupac & nas kinda guy. ❞          as the words leave his lips, a stroke of realization washes over.

okay he was glad that thorin was with his friends because the kid would probably sing the lyrics to this weird-ass song. dominick didn’t even know this song, then again, he listened to the OLDIES. making his way over, he gave him a sheepish smile. “got that potion? this mage kinda needs a MP boost at the moment.”

           ❝  oh, FUCK.  ❞          he fumbled for his phone & in the process --- skipped a song & unplugged his headphones, filling the air between the two with that one   PANIC! AT THE DISCO   song.        ❝ how long have you been here ?!  ❞         he’s  exasperated, but at least he managed to pause the music.

     i saw gorillaz on monday & honestly my life is complete.    i cried, a lot. like.. a lot.  i never thought i’d get to see damon perform live. not for gorillaz, at least.   it meant so so so much to me, y’know?               i listen to them at least once a day if not more..  i’m immersed in the world damon & jamie have created, the characters occupy a special spot in my heart. 

that band has always been there for me. from the first album i ever owned ( gorillaz/title album ) back in  ‘04 to the tough times i went through during adolescence --------- high school, college, life... every time i was down & i listened to one of their songs i felt instantly better. the music has helped me through my depression/anxiety.. my hardships, my grief.. i know all the words to every single song (humanz pending lol) they’ve been my favorite band for most of my 23 years & i don’t think that’s ever gonna change.. i’m crying as i type this.. again..         i’m just ------------

                                                                     so happy.
